I'm not too sure I'm ready for a new laptop yet even though I also got a gaming laptop with questionable longevity. Still, I like to know what is out there so I am glad you are delving into this one. Have to admit, I spent way too much time wondering what aspect of a laptop would merit the "Real Review" treatment (caught myself giggling over the idea of a Real Trackpad Review...but hmm). Thanks for the impressions!

I expect it will cost less than $1299. Today from the Microsoft online store you can order the i7 Matebook X Pro for $1299. Bigger screen, better specs, better speakers... Perhaps this new Matebook 13 is setting us up for the next higher-priced, higher-spec Matebook X Pro. No Thunderbolt 3, can only charge from one of the USB C ports.... forget comparing it to the Macbook - we all know it's a good value when compared to Apple. Compare it to the other Windows laptops it is actually competing with. Then as you see with the XPS, it's not as compelling. The 3:2 screen is the key advantage and the only reason I bought my MBXP vs. the Dell XPS 13.

That MX150 has proven to be a capable GPU. I'd be able to play all my games with it. The only issue here is heat and how long can it mantain its performance

I love the design of this laptop, but I much prefer my Dell Latitude E6400 ATG from 2010 for futureproofing (upgraded literally everything on this laptop since I got it 4 years ago. It runs really well even in 2019). I'm even getting a faster processor for this thing to match

You sir, are an idiot. You know what's funny ? They never provided any proof. The US didn't like the fact that Huawei was absolutely crushing Apple (an American company). If you can't beat them, ban them.
