I have put some strong black scotch tapes on both tabs of the trackpad using this permanent reversible hack here's the link below. So now, i got not rattling at all and trackpad is even slightly more sensitive/precise than before this mod. I don't know about Nvidia, but Intel will actually ask for a higher price for their CPUs if you want to sell the laptop (or desktop) without their sticker attached to it. As for the Huawei sticker indicating that the Huawei Share feature is present on the device, that's all it is, a little advertisement for the feature. In the end those stickers usually are pretty easy to peal off and we've come a long way since the Windows license stickers (COA) that you left on in case you need to reinstall and need the key.

People saying the huawei share sticker is actually an nfc tag, basically doesn't work without it.. nfc doesn't work through metal

I have to disagree. I've owned both, the Dell XPS 9370 and the 2018 Huawei Matebook X Pro. Cooling on the Matebook is barely sufficient, cpu starts to throttle rather quickly under load, the tiny-winy fan cooling the whole thing just doesnt cut it. With the XPS on the other hand i had no such issues. I wish Huawei went for a somewhat smaller battery to get a bigger/second and a proper heatsink crammed in there. Another major issue with the Matebook, which was the main reason i returned it, is the audio system. While the speakers are great, probably the best ultrabook speakers i've heard yet, the case starts to resonate and rattle at around 450-550Hz already at medium volume. Of course i can't tell for sure if the 2019 Matebook still has those issues, but i'm skeptical about the cooling.

I have the huawei matebook x pro with the i5 generation from last year. It's really fast and smooth for everyday tasks and some heavier tasks. I wouldn't be worried about it being outdated due to the general high performance it has compared to the power you'll need for smooth average usage.

I don't have any charging issues, it works just as it should. For normal everyday usage, (Netflix, web browsing, coding and Yt) I get around 4 hours continuously. I do however have it on high brightness which drains a lot of battery since the screen can reach up to 450 nits, whereas many other laptops max out at 300 nits. You can probably have it last longer on one charge by simply turning the brightness to medium and turn on low/medium performance mode. For watching videos (which is awesome on a 2000x3000, 3:2 aspect ratio screen) I'm estimating around 5-6 hours of viewing time. Less if you're on high brightness and settings. Luckily, it charges really fast. It can get hot. With normal everyday tasks it won't get unusually hot, however if you're trying to play some games or process some huge files in photoshop og Adobe premiere, then it could get much hotter than I would prefer. It does however get the job done rather quickly. The fans aren't that loud, but they aren't that big either. When they kick in during normal work, it doesn't bother me. If it's really heavy tasks then It could get a little annoying. I would really recommend it if you're coding a lot. I code a lot myself and the keyboard are so satisfying to type on. The screen size is also very nice for writing and reading code. Do ask if you got more questions :)

@@ARTICFR0ST I live in Norway so I bought it from an official retailer. In Norway we have a 3-5 years complaint-system where we can get if fixed for free by a certified repair shop if the fault lies with the manufacturer. So I can't help you with that. I do know it's legit to buy from Amazon, just find a serious seller/retailer, however I don't know anything about the warranties you get with the purchase. Good luck with that though!

Completly agree, i own the 2018 version that is lot cheaper now with no regrets, i owned before a mbp 2016 i confirm to you it was trash i gave it to my wife that plays candy crush with it

Well both does the work its depends on specs you need and os you are comfortable with some gonna say mac and some will say windows at the end its your decision

MacOS can be a pain for back-end dev. Sometimes brew doesn't work how I want

But at least MacOS os is Unix based so I would go with MacOS if you dont wanna run Linux on a machine like this
