Comparing the Huawei P30 Pro versus Samsung's Galaxy S10+ to see which smartphone is best for speed, camera tech, UI features, battery life and beyond.
I've switched to the P30 Pro from the Galaxy S10+ to test it ahead of my full review and so far these are my favourite new mobiles of 2019. Huawei's handset compares favourably, even if the benchmark performance isn't as strong and the S10 Plus is better for media (thanks to the Dynamic OLED QHD+ screen and stronger audio chops). For one, the camera offers stronger night performance and that impressive 5x optical zoom feature, while the Super Charge battery tech is also superior to Samsung's smartphone.
That said, the S10+ does boast better video recording options, including HDR and 4K at 60FPS.
Both mobiles can blast through the latest games like PubG Mobile, with comparable quality and performance. And I love the UI on both handsets as well, with the P30 Pro serving up Huawei's latest EMUI 9.1 and Samsung dishing up some fresh One UI action on top of Android Pie.

The speaker on the bottom on the huawei p30 wouldn’t bother me as I never play music on my phone without wireless headphones

How is the cell reception on the Huawei compared to the Galaxy S10. Cell signal reception and wifi reception. Some smartphones have weak reception signals for cell and wifi

I've got the s10, beautiful phone. The display is unmatched and the speakers are quality. Camera is great too.

Wow,Watching this on S10+,today unboxed the S10+.Video stabilization is superb & camera is unbelievable.With new update more stabilization & even more camera superity. camera is superrrrb.

I had been a consistent Samsung user for years, and I just switched to the Huawei p30 Pro and I am quite impressed. Aside from the fact that the expandable memory card is the new evolved nano sd card, everything triumphs over the Samsung s10+. This phone is impressively fast. I dont usually use the speaker option but I tested it out and it sounds great! Considering the Huawei p30 Pro is about $500 CAD less then the s10+, I would highly recommend the p30 PRO.

I love the super macro of p30 pro. Shooted with 40mp the images brings astonishing detais of the micro world! The infra red is a must to me. P30 pro is my choice.
