Sadly that’s probably one of the reasons that the US ban exists 😞 gutted, been a massive huawei fan since the p20 pro, they’ve been untouchable in cameras for years now, such a big shame what’s happened.

unlike Samsung, Huawei know how to choose right color for their smartphone, not just boring color like on S20 series, their finishing touches design also well made.

@@yan5362 this is the best phone huawei ever made.i have p40 pro .the plus was too expensive.iam still looking for a secondhand pro plus.that 10 optical zoom in a phone is exceptional.i dont care about google services.i can get around without it,even better.i wish they continued with pro plus in 2021

Hopefully HarmonyOS really kicks on and by the time iPhone and S20 owners need an upgrade, we can finally say good riddance to Android and iOS.

It's clear. No one can compete against Huawei in the mobile camera department. None on the planet Earth. However being a true tech-giant we can expect a very good mobile OS in the later part of 2020 or 2021..wow that will be amazing. Cheers

@@AchiragChiragg in what category? Huawei ultra wide camera is one of the brightest and one of most if not the best detail in ultra wide camera right now. Their problem is in thr field of view which make them not as "wide" as other ultra wide camera oh and the recording is not as smooth as samsung "supersteady" which use ultra wide while on huawei it shake a lil bit more

IMO This is the only phone I can pitch against iphone 11 at the moment, as far as camera is concerned. Really feature rich, impressive camera. Hope Apple is watching

Samsung and Oppo don't have 10x optical zoom, only digital zoom. Huawei is the first device who use 10x optical zoom.

Thanks for the info. I am hihgly considering p40 pro. I just have a question concerning youtube. When using a google free huawei world, will I still be able to log in to my youtube account? (In a legal way) Is there a likely chance youtube will become difficult with browser logins or third party app log ins? I am a small youtube creator, and I need to still be able to access and upload to youtube. But if this is no problem I am switching to huawei immediately. Hoping for qucik answer as I am about to decide what phone to buy 😊

For the camera i don't this thats all worth it i... I mean how many times u do 10x zoom to justify the price? For the display some said it's better but if you just use your phone and not compare it ti the pro + model i think you good and it wont do much different... The 40watt wireless ehile it great i think the 27watt on pro version is good enough it still faster than iphone wired charger

These are some of the best cellphone photos I've ever seen. I have a Pixel 3a, which is wonderful, but flagships w/ good cameras (Apple/Huawei/Samsung) have caught up to Google's AI wizardry, and Oppo/One+ probably aren't far behind. Shame about the (lack of) software on that Huawei...

The zoom is good but these cameras are starting to get too big on the back of a phone now. Where does it stop before it's covered with lenses. There comes a point where it's going to look ridiculous and if you need more than what the phone can offer, just buy a camera.

I do like it. But the Samsung S10 with 5g is a year old, and it has legit night vision. Granted its limited to very very few phones, but still. I can't wait till something like that becomes more mainstream. Combine that with an incredible zoom lens, hell yeah. At the rate things are going, we are probably a matter of years from having a zoom lens with built in night vision. How dope would that be? Zoom in 20 times, while also using night vision......its stuff like that, that gets me excited to see where technology takes us :)

Screen brightness should be fine(600+ nits in Auto)tho not class-leading like the Samsungs and Find X2 Pro Battery life would obviously be among the best, that's what Huawei's famous for(& in part due to the FHD+ 90Hz scrren)

It looks impressive, but paying 1300 euros for a smartphone that lacks google services, with only a FHD+ screen and a single bottom firing speaker, is a hard pill to swallow. I'd rather get the Galaxy S20 instead.
