Hi, I own both of them. The quality as of the moment goes to Note 10+. TBH my s10+ camera is still better than that of s20 ultra 5g. The fail focus is so severe that it seems like an edited photo. But if you are looking for quality in details, the image that s20 ultra can produce in bright environment is a beast. Also compared to 30x zoom of mate30 pro, the 30x zoom of s20 ultra is so much better.

You can't have 120hz and 511ppi simultaneously on the S20 Ultra, it's either 120hz and 381ppi or 60hz and 511ppi. P40 Plus is more balanced with 90hz and 441ppi. That's midway on hz and just about midway on ppi. I prefer balance personally. Overall display quality is about the same. They're both leading quality.

In terms of Camera I pick P40 Pro as I used P30 pro before and its camera is awesome. From productivity point S20 Ultra is great in-fact I prefer Note versions as my previous note 9 was very handy.

4:36 wrong, S20 only has a 4x optical zoom, and the Exynos version has issues auto-focusing. Also P40's ultrawide is too narrow, and lack of vertical zoom control in camera landscape mode makes it unusable for single-handed shooting. 2020 is such a effed up year.

Ill go with the kirin. On benchmark, exynos are always higher but in the real world usage, kirin is better. I owned p30, mate 10 and s10, s9. Kirin always performs like new even after 1 to 2yrs of usage. But samsung with exynos processor, it becomes slower and slower as the time goes by. My 2 yr old S9 performs very shit nowadays. Even on gaming, kirin gets consistent framerate. On exynos, after playing sometime, framerate goes down. Im not going to buy any phone with exynos processor again.

@@shafentertainment1317 P40 pro + will be better than the s20 ultra at 100x or 50x. But the p30 and p40 aren't quite as good because there's more pixels still with the s20 ultra and it is noticeably sharper than those 2.

Which processor the Galaxy has is an important factor. There have been several tests done where the Snapdragon version proved to take better quality pictures/video than the Exynos version. You would think the images would be the same because the hardware is the same, but the end result showed a difference.

I like the P40 camera night capabilities & also my carrier here in Canada is offering the phone for absolutely free as per "Google" issue, on cheap 2 year voice & data plan . Hard to beat for now I think. Good work & Good Luck.

Malaysia viewer here when I'm heard that US don't let Huawei phone use Google my first action is move all my data from Google to Huawei and others third party service. For the basic I still use these google apps below： Google Chrome KZfaq Vanced with MicroG（Better than official one no ads free download videos open in popup window or background running） Google Play Service（by using an app to run an apk in the app itself） Google Keep（by using an app to run an apk in the app itself） Google Play Store（by using an app to run an apk in the app itself） GMAIL using third party one that can manage all emails in one app so no more gmail standalone notification frame and yahoo standalone notification frame Google Keep Notes Moved to Huawei Notes Google Drive Moved to Huawei Cloud you get free 20GB when having a sign in Huawei Mobile device Google Calendar Moved to Huawei Calendar there's alot of others Google apps but in my experience the most uses Google Apps are Google Chrome,KZfaq,Gmail and Google Search. but the others it is easy to replace those service. but what I'm waiting for is Harmony OS I'm ready to move Harmony OS will be like Apple iOS but open source. Apple is a good Brand and Huawei did Copy it but only take the good one and left the meaningless one behind. and Samsung they already lose the way or the path. From what I know Samsung devices like Note II and S4 Active until now there's nothing pull me into it for me it's only misunderstanding way what peoples want it a direction to the future not staying standing and loopping.

I'm happy with my Galaxy S20 ultra. I was about to buy a Huawei P30 pro instead, but then I realized that it was so screwed without Google services. Besides there was an update some days ago for the S20 ultra cameras and I think they have solved the problems.
