I just got a GT today, I had the Gear fit 2 Pro previously and wow, this is a real quality watch and it cost me half as much as that stupid fitness band which was broken. Samsung did not replace it. Also having something that lasts more than 3 days is amazing!

Thank you very much for your important and informative news about this update. Question: you mention that now the "bright" watch faces, when you raise your arm, which can now be prolonged until 20 min (in history only 5 min).... I have another problem, in standard settings it is just vor few seconds. Some other smart watches enable the user to set it from for example: 3 sec. until maybe 15 sec.... Is there also the possibility in the watch GT, to show the full bright screen during training some seconds more than the 4 - 5 seconds as it is actually? (10 second would be fine).

The option you are talking about is not available. The limited features on the Watch GT is the reason why I don't use it much. The Galaxy watch and Gear s3 are way better smartwatches. Check out this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hMeRdMaY3Zu8ZKs.html

The Watch GT has an amazing oled display and a fantastic battery life thanks the amazfit. I will choose the watch gt any time over the amazfit.

The gtr battery last longer and the display is very good. Also GPS works fine I had problem with it the first time only.

2 weeks on a normal usage but with fitness features, heart rate sensor always on and always on display the battery last a week.

It's an amoled display, so turning it on all the time wears out the display faster and is therefore a bad idea.

The watch GT has the best battery life in all smart watches. It lasted 2 week with showtime off and 1 week with showtime on.👍🏼🏆

The AOD on the watch GT is like a second watch face. You can set the length of time you want it to be on. All the settings are in advance

The GT 2 is a better version of this watch, has the music controller and other great features that are absent on the GT1.

Hi, I have a question about this show time setting. Does the 20min show time mean that the watch original watch face with full brightness will remain on for 20minutes? Even if you put the watch aside. Also will the 20min time count restart as soon as you move your wrist. Actually I want the watch original watch face to remain visible all the time. Is it possible?

The main watchface stays on for 20 mins with full brightness. Even when you move your wrist or take it off your wrist it stays ON.

Yes the always on display stays permanent. It's like a secondary watch face.

Reliability with the huawei watch GT is great, the battery life is the best in all smart watches. The only reliability issues i have experience is with the heart rate sensor.

It doesn’t record my heart rate a 100%of the time. Especially using in the gym, it fails a lot.

@@BigPhilTV Is it more often failing when you are doing exercises where you move the arms a lot. If so, it is the same problem that all watches/armbands have when the watch isn't secured on the wrist tight enough (which would be uncomfortable). I use a chest strap when I need accuracy. Can you connect a chest strap to the watch as with Amazfit Stratos and others? I just ordered a P30 Pro and the watch comes free of charge so I'm curious if it will replace my Stratos or not.

The failure is more often mostly in the gym and even when the watch is securely tight on my wrist. The good feature about the watch gt is the battery life, sleep tracking, step counting and now always on display.

Yeah, it works as a separate watch face that stays on continuously even when you raise your wrist. You either tap or press the bottom to go back to the main watch face.
