Hub Assembly removal on my Subaru Impreza 2.5RS

In today's video I am finally starting to remove parts from the Impreza 2.5rs. the Part that I start to remove is the driver's hub assembly. there was other work that needed to be finished in that area of the car, so it was really the easiest choice. I am going to be dropping a new video about the Impreza every Saturday so stay tuned and subscribe if you want to see me restore this car!

A tip would probably just be to pull the whole front/rear sub frame with everything attached to it. Might be easier to work on it and clean up everything with sandblasting or something

That’s a actually a great point! I’m not sure why I didn’t go that approach to begin with! I think probably due to the fact I wanted to get that broken bolt extracted and try to slap everything together and see if I could move the car under its own power! But now that I am alittle further along and had some time to think this may be what I do! Thanks for the comment!

@@JoezGarage yes, i mean the car is old and there is probably rust here and there, it will probably make everything easier for ya to reach all the spots in the motor area as well as In the rear. Replace bushing etc

for sure great ideas. thanks for the help with the process! I do have an exciting video coming up that I may reverse this process before I tear it all down but I think I may go this route after looking into how that would work!

You can find alease disarable subaru to do mods on you have to bring back to original

Yeah for sure, I use JB80 it’s similar to PB blaster but it’s alittle better IMO! It foams and really breaks down rust alittle better then the PB but I do use PB for some applications

Love that! I wouldn’t mind a 4 door so I can throw the kids in the back alittle easier but I do really like the way the coupe looks!

hey thanks for the comment. What do you mean “show people what im doing”? I’m trying to show how I took the brake apart I can’t get the camera in every angle perfectly.. but if you can tell me what you would like to see I’ll try to do better for you in the next few videos!
