Hi mate! make sure your numbers are formatted to include the country/area codes. Also, use the characters that are commonly found in phone numbers: + - ( ) . x delete the rest and try import.

You are welcome Ezinne, In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon in the main navigation bar. Click Users & Teams in the left sidebar menu. Click the name of the user whose permissions you want to edit.

very nice intro...Question...if I add a client...is there a way I can set their category(s). I sell to different levels, different industries and like to track referral source: Categories might be: Small Business, Realtor, Davie Chamber, I think in a previous CRM for a network marketing company I was allowed to add unlimited categories, and I was able to do the same with Constant Contact. Some contacts might only have one category, some will have more than one. thanks in advance!

Hey mate, If your paying for the marketing hub then its sufficient. However, not the free version. I suggest using MailChimp and connecting this to your HubSpot CRM.

Hi, please I have a question: do I need to already have a website in order to create a landing page with Hubspot? I was registering to get started with the landing page, but couldn't complete the registration because they asked for a website domain (which I don't have). How should I proceed?

Hi mate, No you do not need a website to create a landing page. You will eventually, need a domain name, so I suggest you purchase one. You don't need a website, however, a business domain name will be handy for many things.

@@StewartGauld yes that’s correct but it works if you click into outlook and click on the sales tools in HubSpot. It creates the Bcc which I need . How do I get it to automatically have the bcc code without clicking on Sales tools? Is this possible? Your video was great by the way

I don't think it can hold enough contact information. I would need to add addresses and because I deal with cars, I need to add makes/ models of cars, plate numbers and things of that nature.

Hi Stewart. I'm a current Act! User. I have a couple of questions. Is this cloud based or does this run on my computer as a standalone program? I'm an I.T. Recruiter and an ex programmer. All I need is a Database of companies, with a relationship to Employees of the company. Then I need to be able to send a text based email(which is the announcement of a new job opening) out to 500 or less potential applications(in my employee side database) with the ability to send them through Outlook one by one, rather than a bulk blast, and also have the ability to delete some employees from the list before emailing (because they either work for the client, or they aren't qualified for the position, or for whatever reason. The problem with ACT!, is that they now have an expensive emailing tool that is hard to use and not worth the money. I had been using ACT! non-cloud based with Templatezones high impact email, which made me lots of money! Templatezone has gone out of business and has left all their users high and dry! Will Hubspot do all these things? Also, what I do like about Act!, is that it treats the Company screen as the first contact of a sale, which is really what most sales people look at first! Seems like all of the new CRMs treat the contact as the main screen and there is little to no information about the company! In my business, it's the company that pays me, not the individual. I also need to create unique fields on the company record! Any ideas?

Everything you explained was easy to understand and implement, except for one thing, they changed the Email Provider section. It no longer has Other mail account, I don't have the ones they offer now. What should I do?

Hi Mare, If they do not support your mail account you can look at using Zapier to connect HubSpot and your account together.

sorry for the question but i'm trying to understand.. If i dont have a job, and a company name or domain,i can still get the certification ?? Or it works just for companies ? I mean ive finished the university, so i have to time for certificate myself.. can i do it with hubspot ?
