I like the fact that this dries down which means using less powder.... which is a goal for my mature skin. I have noticed some newer matte foundations still have more of a satin finish. I have always gone for a more matte foundation because of the high humidity where I live. This was a wonderful review!

I just bought this foundation, I have combo mature skin at 55 . I like how it looks but I have dry patches I’ll try apply putting it on in smaller sections so that it doesn’t look patchy. I’m on day three and still undecided if I like it it is a bit dry to work with. It did transfer all over my mask though but I haven’t found a foundation that hasn’t transferred yet.

I absolutely love this foundation 💜 I’m 49 with normal/dry skin and it is fantastic! I blend fast with my brush as it’s so thick. Lasts all day for me even at work in air conditioning that usually drys me out and makes my skin eat foundation. It’s my favourite beauty find in ages x Edit- this does not oxidise on me at all either, and I’m reasonably fair. I use the shade creme brûlée 💄

I probably have too many little wrinkles but it looked good on you. I have to be so sparing now with foundations. I’m thinking of mixing some with moisturizer to keep it from accentuating my little wrinkles. Idk.

I have dry combination skin I always use a setting spray I like the mac 1 n it just takes the dry or powered look away

You must know what I'm going to say .... Will your Mum be trying this? As I have dry/mature skin, hearing your Mum's thoughts on any products is fantastic. Honestly, I don't mind a plastic "bottle". Yes, it's not as lux but it's ideal for travelling. Good to know you're a "1½ to 2 pumps girl" 😂😂😂. I laughed out loud when you said that! 🌸🦋🌸🦋🌸🦋🌸

I love this foundation! I wasnt a fan of the old version this one is my new go to love applying with a sponge and doesnt transfer last all day I do not set it and its doesnt settle into my fine lines

I just received this foundation and I had watched a video on application and a sponge was used, but it too suggested you apply in small areas at a time. I used a sponge but I am now going to try a brush. I live where it gets very humid so I hope this works when the weather gets hot & sticky. Thanks 😊

I have this foundation and am in 2 minds, i love the feel of it on the skin and its a perfect shade match for me but it is thick and i found it hard to blend, I'll try applying it the way you did and see what happens, have you tried Huda's foundation stick alot of people like it am tempted to try it.

Thanks for the great review Gemma :) I almost bought a full coverage foundation today, now I can see how difficult it would be for me to blend I'm glad I didn't purchase it. I did try the RImmel Match Perfection foundation at one time, the finish wasn't too heavy and was very easy to blend. I haven't seen it in the stores lately, I guess it's been discontinued :( Take care everyone

First thing, you crack me up! I mean literally I laughed loads at the beginning, during & towards the end. I like that. And you should have seen the first time I ever used bronzer on my face! Definitely have learned a light brush & hand goes far. I looked awful. Second, my skin is so combo that any matte foundations I'm apprehensive to use. It looks lovely on you! The natural lighting was a great way of viewing this product. Feeling slightly more confident about this foundation as you felt your dry patches did fine after such a long wear. I think I'd want this more for cooler weather with the amount of coverage & thickness you mentioned. But I do like how you said it didn't feel like a mask as I have issues with matte finishes that way. Sometimes I over powder my t-zone throughout the day that my nose area can start to look cakey. Something I think I'm going to use blotting papers like the Biore brand to remedy instead of powdering. You don't look 41. I was told today by an elderly neighbor I looked around 24 after I told him my age as today is my 48th birthday. I love this man & may ask him to be my adopted grandfather!
