hi hi! *Update: I did try shade 120B and it looked way yellow but didn't seem to oxidize nearly as much as 200B. While I LOVE the coverage and way this looks, I think the fragrance is way too intense and I don't know if I'll be picking up a new shade, there are some pretty crap ingredients and acne irritants in here which I'm trying to get better about. Hi Taylor! Thanks for the update and ingredient info. Side note - I’ve been watching your videos for months now and I love them all. However, I never had a KZfaq account to subscribe...and I kinda felt guilty about that. So, I created a KZfaq account just now to be able to subscribe and like your videos as a show of support. Yay to being part of the Baerrito fam! Also, good luck with Accutane. I was on it years ago. Worked wonders with no major side effects, except dry skin. Fast forward to years later, back to combo/oily skin with minor breakouts. While the stuff works wonders with cystic acne, doesn’t always give you perfect skin. Anyway, wishing you the best of luck!

Totally not related to Huda foundation but I recently bought the coty airspun setting powder on a KZfaq rec and I can NOT use it because of the heavy fragrance. It makes me nauseated. It's made my big fluffy brush smell like it too and I don't know if I can get it out 😭😭😭 uck

My daughter has cystic acne… I don’t get to see her often but when I do I take care of her and I gave her facial and I try to help her the best I can. Seeing your videos has totally changed her life and I’m so grateful for that because she’s so beautiful but I hated that one thing gets in the way of her life. This foundation is TERRIBLE regarding ingredients. I'm so glad you posted about this in an update comment! Everyone is going ham buying this and most of them are going to get breakouts and irritated skin unfortunately. I am a skin care ingredient geek and skin care therapist wanting to become a Dermatologist (at age 39, it's never too late right lol)

Kara Hance for oily skin, Kat Von D Lock-it foundation (this is beautiful foundation applied in thin layers with a beauty blender), NYX total control coverage drops, Makeup forever Ultra HD foundation (not for super oily skin, apply mattifying primer) all are about a 1-2 in comedogenic ability. *EDIT I'm adding Wet n Wild Photo focus to the list however I've never personally tried this foundation to know how it performs. (Although I've heard good things, and $5.99!)

The shade range means nothing if it doesn't stay the color you bought it as. I hate foundations that oxidize. It's almost as bad as shrinking a new shirt on the first wash. So disappointed in how much this changed color!!!!

You guys, oxidization depends on the specific ingredients in conjunction with your body chemistry. It also depends on the specific ingredients in conjunction when it once hits oxygen. For example, lancome foundation may oxidize on you while it doesn't on me. It all depends 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was excited for this because the shade range is so amazing, but alcohol and fragrance are 1) in the ingredients, and 2) way too high up on the list to be okay for sensitive skin. Love that Huda Beauty is catering to all different skin tones, but don't love it's not catering to all skin types :(

I have watched many reviews on this foundation and I was very curious on your review because I know how honest you are but I've seen so many reviews talking about how strong the smell is and that is one thing that I don't like about foundations is a very strong smell especially when a few people said it smelled like an old lady smell which I can't stand I'm just wondering did the smell go away after a little bit or did the smell linger on your face all day?

TranceDivine it goes away..lingers for like 10 mins after application and then it's gone..doesn't bother me at all..I've been wearing it all week and now I'm used to it.

Please do a foundation Friday on some No7 foundations! I bought a couple from ulta (the Stay Perfect and the Lift And Luminate), and I liked the formula of both, but I ended up returning the Stay Perfect because the shade Cool Vanilla was way too dark. I have Cool Vanilla in the other formula and it works okay. I found that it oxidizes a lot, but I’d love to hear your thoughts. I have oily skin, but I think it would work well for you even on Accutane

Holy shitballs I've never seen a foundation oxidize that much! 🍊 Yay for the awesome shade range...sure...but looks like "formula" needed to take priority over "shades." Perfect the formula first...THEN focus on an amazing shade range.

Poenut I've seen a few reviews of the lightest shade & none of them oxidized. But all the reviewers have normal to dry skin.

Whether something will or won’t oxidize for you has to do with your skin chemistry.

Jessica Jones true but it's also how your skin reacts to the unique chemistry of the makeup. Some foundations oxidize terribly on me but others don't at all.

You and I have very very different foundations shades, but our skin is so similar, I take every foundation review and run with it. I really trust your opinion on every foundation you do, I am very glad you put this one up like you said in your snaps (yes I am from snapfam 🌯) . I know making it to the trending page is supposed to be a good thing but it’s funny to see all these “men” come out the wood work to talk mad shit. And they say girls are mean to other girls more. All I see is love from other females in her comment section and all the mean shit is from “men”. Go figure.
