Well dang man! Philips has a pretty good customer with you. Saw most of your vids, you got quite the setup man. Super nice! Those recessed lights are also philips hue right?

So my computer is a desktop in a different room from our entertainment area (tv stereo and speakers) how does the hue sync (or bridge and lights for that matter) actually listen to the music
@liopboy5 жыл бұрын
Through Philips "Light sync" it takes the music from your music application (Spotify, Itunes etc)

Very nice is this the Hue Sync. how you get it to work. Do you have a Windows 10 HTPC connected to the TV or Apple?. All i see about Hue Sync that it only works from a PC with Windows 10 or IOS very annoying. But this looks great

that's true. AND you even need the app on a smartphone, because you can't do any configuration on the windows app. you have to setup the entertainment areas on the smartphone, then activate it on the pc/mac app to sync the video output of the pc/mac. it all is connected to the hue bridge, which is the base of any setup. Sadly you can't even use chromecast (yet) and there isn't any app for tv's (yet again I hope). So you will have to connect your tv to the pc/mac by hdmi and clone the screen. I this video, the TV doesn't have any role at all in the hue setup. the light simple goes to the music from the pc/mac
