Video's were so good back in the 80's because they were all competing for airtime on MTV.....

Huey and the boys always had fun videos. They were really good at crafty catchy pop songs.

Huey has suffered hearing loss. I love his music. My husband and I drove up through the wine country for vacation and had his music on for most of our trip. It was a rare vacation without kids and not going to see family. He has passed and this is a sweet memory.

Huey was perfect in every way, and he brought out the same with his band.

The young woman stuck with Huey in the video is Keely Shaye Smith, who married actor Pierce Brosnan in 2001.

I hum this song regularly when I'm thinking of how much I adore my husband of almost 22 years! Thank you Harri, I have been a Huey Lewis And The News Fan for a long time. Sure hope Huey can find a cure...I agree with you about the creative video's from back in the day!

Admittedly, there are many songs I love that CAN bring me to tears because they make me feel how much I love my wife…but this one ALWAYS does. Lol!

"You look marvelous" made the pop culture/water cooler rounds after Billy Crystal said it in an SNL sketch.

This is when videos on MTV were fun, like little movies at times, and extremely insanely expensive as all hell to make.....

Thanks Jami A. for referring this to Harri. Always love Huey Lewis and the News. So many great songs and they always seem to enjoy performing. Great video. I’ve seen Huey and his band a couple times. Their concerts were always entertaining. 👏👏🥰

Huey LOVES entertaining people and it is so obvious both in video and live. I love bands that take the songs seriously but bands that put the entertainment value over the songs are just so great to listen to. They seem to feed off the audience making it even more fun for everyone.

I normally don’t like ‘sing, songy’ tunes but this one is a wonderful exception

So true ! I watched Rick Springfield 's "Bop til You Drop" video recently, it looked like a scene from a Star Wars movie, so elaborate 😊

My husband didn’t like the water because his mother terrified her kids of it. The first thing he told me when we had kids was get them in the water and teach them how to swim. Kids and grandkids are all water babies and his favorite place in his last years was sitting around our daughter’s pool watching all of them having a good time. You mentioned you have a four year old daughter in another video. Get her in swimming lessons now. Four is a good time to start. An old Nana’s tip of the day.

Huey and his band members were smart when they became popular and invested a lot of their money because they knew that the money and fame doesnt typically last forever. They also didn't spend extravagantly, so they are comfortable for life.

Thanks Harri…love this song..I was fortunate to see Huey Lewis at Madison Square Garden back in his hay day,I think early or mid 80’s and he sounded just as good live

Great group from the 80's-90's. They had a lot of great hits such as "Do You Believe In Love", "Workin' For A Livin'", "Heart & Soul", "I Want A New Drug," "If This Is It", "Jacob's Ladder," "Hip To Be Square" etc.

I may be WAY off track, but somehow recall Huey would do anything to have a four ball. Please someone reply if I am thinking of another artist, but I think golf had its teeth in him?? Many a man indeed.
