This is PM Modi’s first Russia visit since Ukraine and also his first bilateral trip since retaining power last month. Putin called PM Modi his “best friend” and shared a warm hug. PM Modi appreciated the Russian President for organising an informal meeting and inviting him to his residence.

I have watched interviews of ordinary Russians expressing their views about our India. Over-population and pollution are their most common opinion about our country and nobody mentioned friendship.

Over population? Thats why they're calling as big economy country. If there is no over population, they their will be less business from foreigner. We Indians are buying consumer along with the big economy. Thats why we're in closely touch with the worlds. So over population is also our advantage only. The Global Hunger Index stated that India has 200 Indians that don't have enough to eat. The education level is also low in India and pollution is really bad.

@@peterlim1972 India has more resources, even though British stoles trillions of dollers and wealth from us, we're still surviving as third world country.. We have lots of resources, if our population reduced to lower rate, then the same foreigners will take our wealth and resources. As I said in the above comment, we're buying consumer with big population, thats why we're are calling as third world country even though British looted our resources from us.

The funny thing is that most Indians knew that the British stole trillions from India and yet Indians are dying to be more like the West. What resources does India have? In the 60s till the early 80s, India's GDP and per capita income was higher than China but now China's GDP is almost 6Xs that of India. What went wrong for India?

Where as in reality Russia was forced into that conflict by the US and their aggressive politics towards Russia and its borders.
