Seeing you two at 7:15 brought a happy tear to my eyes. About 9 years ago my brother was in a car accident and became vegetative, and a few years ago he died. In that time I've bought land and livestock, and I know I would've had him next to me learning a thing or two if he could be there. I'm glad you had that opportunity with your brother.

Thanks everyone. My brother was someone who would never stop moving, learning, and would have lived in a tree in the forest if he could convince his wife and kids it was the right choice. As sad as it was, his death was a relief, because it meant he was no longer stuck in the prison of his own body, and his energy could move on. His ashes have been spread far and wide. They have been buried near his home, they nourish a tree in my yard, they travel in the mountain rivers he canoed, the winds blow them across the plains. I am at peace and moving forward, and so is he.

I just read an article on the Wallstreet Journal about your early life, family "challenges" and the circuitous route you took to hoof trimming. I was wondering how profitable the business was so came across a brief synopsis or your journey. Wow, over 600 people signed up for your first hoof trimming seminar from all parts of the world. It's amazing how your first videos intended for farmers have skyrocketed into massive interest around the world. Can't wait for your book to come out. I hope it goes into more detail about the family dynamics, tragedies and triumphs that guided you into trimming. Fascinating. Well done!

It's a thing that often happens here where I live, a lot of people doing work for people (myself and other people I know included), we slip more into the accent of who we're talking to. It builds more of a rapport with the customer. I'm guessing that's what he's doing, not even intentionally, he's born and bred in that area so the accent is part of what he knows. It just comes out stronger when talking to someone who also has the accent coming out thickly

I keep seeing people on other hoof channels say they prefer the purely technical, short videos. I can't imagine why. I enjoy those as well, but these videos are just as enjoyable with music and seeing you guys driving through the countryside, seeing up the crush, and even the music parts over you just working away. Keep up the good work, I've even added the songs you use to my KZfaq driving playlist.

Oh God, those people are so dramatic about it too. Like, the whole point of KZfaq is you can customize your recommendations. So either hit the thumbs up, the thumbs down or even don't recommend channel. But those people act like playing a little bit of music during the hoof trim is like some egregious sin. They act like everything has to be a competition.

I love how Bob said how much was enough (not enough or too much) thats always my concern. I wouldnt want to make it worse but also to be ineffective isn't helpful. Great camera work, and incites. Loved thst your brother came today. Have a lovely day tomorrow.

This was a really fun video! I love that he talked about the smells and things were would not necessarily know about the experience. I definitely didn’t think about the burning hooves with the grinder. What a fun time to have him close. Thanks guys!

My new husband and I visited Scotland for our honeymoon. It was in September and decidedly cool, but it felt like home to me. I live literally in a desert a mile high. The air is thin and hot in the summer. 16 degrees Celsius would be an unusual blessing. I already watch your Bro’s channel.

Grew up on dairy farm in Wisconsin,USA. Many days spent trimming hooves of dairy cows with my dad. He's long gone now and those were the best days of my life. Thanks for the memories.😅

Just read up on your life. You've gone through so much but have persevered. You are inspiring. I grew up on a farm in western Canada 🇨🇦. Our cows were all pasture raised and luckily none of them required a bovine pedi but I find this fascinating. Just subscribed! Keep doing what you're doing 👍.
