FYI the Sun Basics sunscreen at Dollar Tree (mentioned in this video) is essentially No-Ad Brand sunscreen (the spf 50 sport formulation). It's manufactured and distributed by the same company and there are only two minor ingredient differences.

I absolutely LOVE their double repair retinol serum, the ponds charcoal foaming face wash (which smells great &&& has the best lather I’ve ever experienced!) I also have their eye serum & eye cream!! They truly do have so many great products there!! I also love the oatmeal lotion 🧴 which is fragranced, however, smells wonderful! I love it for hands & body 😊

I want a monthly "quality updates/speed review" for sure. I totally agree there are so many items featured in everyone's hauls that we never find out about. Or after a first impressions we don't get to hear when a product doesn't last all day or causes dryness after a couple of wears.

Someone I watch in the stationery community does "second takes" videos where he'll just do updates about things from hauls etc that he's been using and liking. I thought calling them second takes was clever, and totally makes sense for what it is!

i buy that micellar water in bulk! and i LOVE IT !!! it never hurts my eyes and is so cheap (was cheaper at 1.00 vs 1.25) BUT! still sooo good

Yes, would love a video on the reviews of these products as well as a baby shampoo video! I am curious to know if any baby shampoos actually could work well enough but be gentle for adult hair and scalps. :)

I’m a training new GM at DT and I have tested many many items (even before I worked there) and some of the finds are mind blowing. My store received a shipment of Vivo Power Squad Face Mask Collection. It was gifted to me from my staff (they are amazing!!!) and I looked it up, out of curiousity, and in their website that product goes for $30!! I call these finds unicorn finds. Another tip; when you are perusing the beauty aisle don’t pass up the plain Jane packaged makeup. I have found that it’s repackaged and usually name brand (ie Maybelline, Almay, etc) there are definitely some no’s but for those who aren’t dollar tree lifers you’d be surprised at the finds!!

Bless you! More people should check out Dollar Tree and other dollar store beauty find's! I am retired and live on Social Security and my savings mostly so i can be a penny pincher🤣Have found some really good products for pennies that are way better than expensive counterparts, the containers just are not as pretty😂Love the Pond's light, you may have just got an old one but i found the ingredients on bottom label underneath just peel it back , the 3rd ingredient is Niacinamide! That caught my eye enough to spend that dollar🤣kind of reminds me a little of Olay whip cream and even use on my face, I love it! And i have very sensitive skin also.

i recently picked up a few LA color eyeshadow 6 packs and LOVE THEM! I always wear high end makeup but the first day I used one of the pallets, my mom complimented my makeup. I also used a liquid blush from dollar tree with it. I want to go pick up the blushes you bought. I am quite fair so I think the light pink might even work for me.

I've been consistently using the Dermasil Original Dry Skin Treatment lotion for yeeears, like a decade. It's the cheapest and most effective body skin protection I've ever found - contains 1% dimethicone. My skin is super soft and smooth like I'm not almost 40👍👍

Highly recommend the revlon lippies there right now, and if you can find the tinted chapsticks, they are more like sheer shimmer lipsticks. They look like the revlon lipsheers from the 2010s.

Unfortunately, when I had looked a long time ago, I found that a large number of Dollar Tree items have Methylisothiazolinone and Methylchloroisothiazolinone -- both of which I'm sensitive to. Did you notice if any of the lotions or sunscreens had them as preservatives?

The dermasil line has them! I believe the diabetic foot cream MAY as well? And potentially the oatmeal one? The sunscreen does not as far as I remember. I really enjoyed that sunscreen as well (:

I gave up pumice stones for Kerasal foot treatment and Eucerin Roughness Relief Cream - both have urea and either salicylic acid or lactic acid. Much nicer for the skin and no need to scrape the skin.

I shop at the Dollar Tree every week because I have 2 teenagers and to afford beauty products for all of us it really helps. You have some Hidden gems there like the micellar water, the LA colors products, The pink Mascara is actually a tubing formula that's perfect for the lower lash line. The Vaseline's lip balm works well and comes in different fragrances.

Oh and that sunscreen works fantastic. Doctor Dray recommended it. I don't use it on my face but my neck and the rest of my body I do. We took it to the beach, and those of us who wore it didn't get burned but the others did.

Before I saw a dermatologist I only used baby shampoo. It was the only product that did not flare up psoriasis. Works great! Note I’ve never used any brand but Johnson and Johnson so I would love to see all brands video.

Allergic to cocoa so first product is a no go but never thought of buying anything more then maybe nail polish and odds n ends at the dollar tree. Is my go too for stocking stuffers around Christmas so thanks for opening my eyes to the extra possibilities 😊❤ also: yes updates would be both fun and helpful

I have tried the sun basics spf 50, btw, and it is good!! My usual favorite is Black Girl Sunscreen kids, but this is a great option, esp now that i am on a strict budget. The micellar water doesn't work too well, but mixed with my boxycharm high end one (Dr Perricone), it's fairly effective and doesn't sting like the Perricone on its own (very disappointing product for the pricepoint).

If you like that 'film' feel you HAVE TO TRY CERAVE SKIN RENEWING NIGHT CREAM! I LITERALLY REACH FOR THIS ALL THE TIME! I've used this day and night before and it doesn't peel or anyting of with other products or makeup! -- I also used it while on accutane with no issues and it almost blurs the skin. (I don't usually use any other CeraVe items due to my skin not liking them. Idk what is so different about this one but it's AMAZING! my jar is almost empty and that's rare for me bc I never use up any products.. this is one of maybe 5 that I have actually finished and will repurchase! It's a must try!! 😊

How do you tell if your skin is dry vs dehydrated?

This is not an expert answer, but I figured my own situation out by going thru my skincare routine but no makeup, incl primer. I examined & touched my skin thoroughly at the end of the day for several days. My skin was not necessarily moist at all at the end of day, but was soft and not dry or patchy, but my wrinkles were deeper. Good ol' transepidermal water loss. Took a long time to figure out a budget fix, but Dr Dray rescued me. Gold Bond face & body Pure Moisture and Retinol Overnight are both lovely face formulas but priced for body, they have urea, this is the ingredient that fully hydrates me and locks in moisture much better - it is a great humectant and my hero occlusive (and no weirdness of textures like silicones or petrolatum). Still trying to stay plump all day but I live in the prairie desert and am 52 with no sebum left. The gold bond is usually less than $1.50/oz and I love how well it works and being able to use face cream all over my body. I put it in bougie jars from old boxycharm creams on the vanity, then stick the Family Size pump bottles in the shower lol. If I handed you the Korres jar full of pure moisture, you'd never guess it was

I've been becoming a bigger and bigger fan of the dollar tree for some everyday items, but I'm honestly really surprised how pigmented the makeup looked! I've been thinking of buying some new makeup lately, so maybe I'll stop by the dollar tree first for some cheap finds. the small size would be perfect for me, because tbh, i don't wear a lot of makeup very often. Very curious to hear a review of the hair masks too.
