HUGE GARDEN MAKEOVER / EXTREME BACKYARD MAKEOVER / garden before & after
HI friends, today I share our new garden reveal with you. What a project this was but BOY, WHAT A DIFFERENCE. We wanted a simple garden design with a lot of grass for the kids to play on. The trampoline is a hit already. So happy with the end result ! Grab a cup of coffee, sit down, put the sound on ( cause I love the music I used :)) and ENJOY !

agree. the only rounded shape in sight is the trampoline. such hard geometric shapes n black plastic n concrete n stones.how removed from nature can you be. i hate these "new, computer-looking uglies. no mystery n exploration for the kids. they'll be bored after a week!

Было очень красиво,по-живому.Да,необходимо было почистить дорожки, обновить газон, убрать засохшие растения.А теперь у них "лужайка перед Белым Домом".Не живой сад.Работа проделана большая,но было лучше.

I know. We wanted to put a fence with hedera but the government did not let us. We could only choose a green seperation such as conifers. The old ones were at the end of there life cycle so we had to take them out.

What a shame you ripped out the old conifer hedge, only to replace it with baby conifers the same. Insane, the old hedge just needed feeding and trimming. No there’s no privacy for the amazing terrace. It’s a great before and after transformation, but now it looks like a typical suburban commercial office block landscape here in New Zealand 🇳🇿

Wirklich eine starke Veränderung aber ich finde den neuen Garten sehr langweilig! Wieso wurden wieder so hässliche Lebensräume darum gepflanzt? Ich glaube man hätte viel mehr aus dem Garten rausholen können!

Wow, wat een transformatie!😍 Ziet er prachtig uit, heerlijke plek voor de kinderen om te spelen en buiten te zijn. Hoop dat het weer snel beter wordt zodat je lekker van de tuin kunt genieten! Ben super benieuwd hoe het er in het najaar uitziet met planten erin en als de moestuin een beetje gegroeid is. Top video!💕

@@LennysLoveChaos Thank you for answering me. I live in USA Detroit Michigan so it is only warm 3 maybe 4 month's out of the year. We are working on putting our above ground pool up soon, just need to buy some bags of dirt to level out the backyard. We bought a bigger pool during winter from Walmart. We paid a quarter of the price since it was out of season. Sorry about my chatting so long in your messages, I came across your page a while ago and I love your cleaning/mommy content. It's so cool seeing how all us mommy's have a lot in common no matter how far we are. 😊

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. You judge too fast. The garden was neglected for years and the plants were at the end of their lifecycle. The trees we sick and couldn’t be saved. i am not american But dutch. We live in the Netherlands. You should see it now with all the plants, furniture and decoration. We love it. ❤️

Für mich ein Paradebeispiel wie man heute Gärten anlegt. Und woher der Verlust unserer insektewelt usw. herrührt. Das sieht wie ein aufgeräumtes Wohnzimmer aus und es hat so pflegeleicht wie möglich zu sein. Sehr schade.

Na ja ,schön ist was anderes . Viel zu viel Beton und Kies! Ich hätte die beiden alten Bäume stehen gelassen. Immerhin hat man noch Koniferen als Hecke gepflanzt.Vielleicht reisst die Bepflanzung noch etwas raus .Die Krönung dieses sterilen Garten wäre Stabgitterzäune mit den eingeflochtenen Plastikstreifen. Das ist die Krone der Hässlichkeit .

Die 2 Bäume waren leider krank. Und der Rest des Gartens war am Ende seines Lebenszyklus. Eigentlich wollten wir einen Zaun mit Efeu, aber da das Gelände der Gemeinde gehört, durfte kein „Gebäude“ höher als 80 cm sein. Neue Koniferen waren erlaubt, also hatten wir wenig Wahl. Die 4 Tabletts sind jetzt ein gelungener Gemüsegarten und die restlichen Tabletts sind voll mit Annabelle-Hortensien und Ziergräsern. Mit den Möbeln und etwas Deko ist der Garten wunderschön. Wir sind sehr zufrieden damit. Danke fürs Zuschauen und Antworten! Jeder hat seinen eigenen Geschmack :) Liebe Grüße

Wait till you see it with all the plants and flowers in. The old garden got neglected for years. The plants were sick or old. They do have a life cycle you know and when it is their time they have to go. A new garden always looks a bit clean and cold. It is only a matter of time for the plants to grow.

nice but looks sterile. The existing garden would have looked beautiful with tidying up, new lawn and beds and paving. It has some character with winding paths etc.

Привет ! Благодарю за ваш ответ. Мы очень довольны дизайном. Старые деревья были больны и находились в конце своего жизненного цикла. Все должно было выйти, и мы хотели гладкий сад на 2 этажах. Контейнеры действуют как приподнятые грядки в моем огороде. «пустой» выглядит не очень красиво, но прошлым летом он был полон овощей и собирал цветы. Остальная часть сада заполнена красивыми белыми гортензиями Аннабель и декоративными травами. С мебелью на террасе сад действительно фантастический. Конечно, у каждого свой вкус, но мы хотели много травы для игр детей, уличную кухню сбоку и отличную террасу внизу для бассейна.

Job van Herpen en ontwerp is van Andre Rijks ☺️. Zijn er heel blij mee. Fijne rustige tuin, veel gras voor de kids, alleen nog beetje geduld voordat de coniferen dicht gegroeid zijn.

Yes it was 😥 with pain in my heart. They were at the end of their life cycle or sick. We had to take them all out .

This is making me sad. This garden could have been revitalized. I can imagine how beautiful this garden once was. Once again a garden was replaced by a boring lawn. You could have saved the trees at least.

Hello Gabriel! Thanks for watching and commenting. I really wanted to keep the trees but they were sick. All the other plants and trees were at the end of their life cycle. We wanted grass for the children to play. The plants came in autumn that year and last summer the garden was beautiful. We have trees in the front part and beautiful hydrangeas everywhere. The vegetable garden have us so much food. We love the garden 🪴. We had to work with the level differences and we had a budget. This design was affordable for us. Lots of love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

ein Zaun wurde von der Gemeinde leider nicht zugelassen. Die bisherigen Nadelbäume hatten eine Krankheit und waren nicht mehr zu retten. Es gab wenig Alternativen und manchmal muss man Kompromisse eingehen, oder? vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar.

Привет, как приятно тебя смотреть! «Приподнятые могилы» - это мои овощные ящики. Я очень доволен этим. Мне не нужно наклоняться, чтобы обработать землю, и она хорошо организована. Они не выглядят пустыми, но летом здесь просто фантастика. На прошлой неделе я опустошил свою последнюю корзину. Красивые тыквы! Привет из Нидерландов

Those trees and bushes provided oxigen, shade, privacy, and food and shelter for animals, before you demolished them. (Pebble provides none of them.) It takes 50 years to grow a tree that big. Such a waste of resources. :(

Better judge if you know the story behind. The trees were sick. We couldn’t save them.

The home owner has every right to do what is safe and valuable to them. You can keep trees in your home and let them cut trees in their yard. It's a personal choice after all

Je suis la seule à trouver cela horrible ??! 😡 Toute cette nature coupée.... De vieux arbres, des haies de sapins pour rajouter des sapins pointus .... Pas une fleur.... Ambiance béton et pelouse de cimetière.... Pour un budget que j'imagine gigantesque !!?? 😂 Personnellement je préfère la vie, les fleurs, la vraie nature 🙏😍
