Fantastic Absolutely Love this..Great Balance between Timber and Grass, Modern and Contemporary.. Love how it all flows Together from inside out and around, love the colour coordination and white stones..great Decking area and loving the shed.. The Lights give it that lovely ambience feel around your whole garden..loving it.. the only thing I'd probably change is the colour of your rattan garden furniture ...just to make that upped deck pop in colour. Love this well done 👏👏🙂☀️

It’s 3.5 years on and still good. I did use pressure treated wood. The only reason I know is I took a big part of it up to fit a hot tub. Thanks for watching m. Really appreciate it. 👍👍

@@RRW thanks for sharing. I was thinking the same thing because it doesn’t appear to be treated wood. What kind of wood is it anyways that you used for the floor? Doesn’t look like the typical dark pressure treated. Redwood? I’ll be doing something similar

Nautical themed yet lacks a water feature. Where's the shading? Maybe a shade sail or a pergola /4 post framing, disguised with bamboo. And whats with the shed when the grass is fake? You should have turned that into your bbq area, though you still can by moving the door then cutting a pop out window on the side thus making the shed into a tiki snack bar.

Cracking job... Can't believe how not only have you managed to renovate your garden but you also managed to make a shed from scratch... The breeze blocks you used was that so you could raise the height of the sleepers?

Yes it helped on cost and it took the sleepers off the mud so they would not rot . 👍👍

no planning need but as it was with in 3 feet of fence it had to be under 2.5 meters from ground level. thanks buddy

Looks great, you should be proud of what you have done on your own. But why did you put weed fabric over the deck joists? Its supposed to go under the deck joists on the floor. All your doing there is helping the timber to rot quicker. Also, what are cladding the shed with?

I put it under and on top as it blackens out the joist for ascetics me just being fussy. Cladded the shed with Canadian redwood cedar 👍👍👍

Looks good but does it comply with the planning permission dept I wonder , also putting a wooden building up so close to the boundary never goes well with neighbours , especially if music can be heard from it . Some people have no consideration for their neighbours

A lot of decking! Can appreciate the hard work but that decking will need lots of upkeep and it’s a shame you used plastic grass. Could have looked amazing with a nice new proper lawn!

Depends on where you live. Water in California/ west is disappearing. Some places limit your water. I wish I can put real grass for the fresh smell.

Would’ve looked loads better in composite decking or Iro Board. Just too much timber overall, that will eventually go green, then black, with our wet winters. I don’t think those timber balustrade posts add anything to it either. Seems to make the patio deck look cramped. Fair play for doing it yourself though. A lot of effort.

It’s been down for 2 years now and still looking good 👍 I would of loved composite but I just could not afford it sadly. One of the big decks will house a hot tub one day 🤞🏻 so thats the reason of so much wood. Thanks for the comment and watching. 🤙🤙 the garden gave me a hernia 🤣🤣

If you go to the local garden centre and ask for red Robin, they do them in either a bush or you can buy them in a tall tree like shape of which I installed and they look fantastic and very easy to maintain a great for privacy. 👍👍

The black paint is just fence paint and the liner in the planter is a waterproof membrane so the sleepers do not rot 👍👍👍 thanks for watching

How beautiful the garden was, without a doubt it causes you to rest and read there 👍🤩... But I wonder if you left enough rainwater outlets towards the street ... since I did not see drains there in the garden ... and in heavy rains stagnant water could enter the house ... or damage the wood. Que bello le quedó el jardín, sin lugar a dudas provoca descansar y leer allí..👍🤩. Pero me pregunto si Usted dejó suficientes salidas de agua de lluvia hacia la calle... ya que no vi allí en el jardín desagues... y en lluvias fuertes el agua estancada pudiese entrar a la casa... o dañaría la madera . Sorry Mate. You worked hard but it's NOT a garden in my opinion. Too much decking and timber in general plus Plastic Grass. Poor wildlife has dipped well and truly.

I was not keen on it when fitting it , as I have such a busy life it makes my life easy but I do miss cutting grass😂👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
