He did to Charles what he had to, knock him down with that hook and triangle him into submission. There are more weapons in his arsenal which he'd use whenever required in his future fights. His side kick and roundhouse are amazingly powerful as well. We've hardly seen all of him so far. He's got a strong feet game alongwith that solid ground game. Islam Makhachev is here to stay for long.

not many people know that one of the reasons khabib retired is to give the chance for islam , because they made it clear before that they will never fight against each other in the octagon and both were in the same weight class . islam played a huge part in khabibs training camps and now khabib returning the favor and wanna see his friend achieve his dream too . most people in the west would never go this far when it comes to friendship because of the western individual culture . no one in the west would sacrifice his own dream to help his friend achieve his own dream ,these too are the best in what they do but there was never any sign of jealousy .islam was as happy as khabib when khabib won the title , and you can see now how happy is khabib for his friend .
