On the Toys R Us "return" in America... a couple years ago they did start adding small sections inside some number of Macy's stores here and there. Heard next year (2024) they supposedly have plans to start reopening a limited number of actual stores in the US.

I think the village tram needs a couple stops... maybe one on the far side of the chalet/chairlift entry and another by the alpine lodge.

I’ve had the same problem with the ripped magazines. I found some great ones near you as well but they were ripped open. Also Bricksie, dollarama should have Lego poly bags. At least when I was there they had them.

Do you think alpine lodge could work on the top of the ski slope? If so I think it would look great but I under dimensions might not work properly! Thanks for listening it’s just an idea.

The owner of Toys R Us Canada is opening up locations in the US, but as they don't have the US rights to the name, their US stores are called Alex Baby & Toys. They are like smaller mall based stores. Bigger than old mall toy stores like KB toys, but much smaller than a traditional Toys R Us. I think they only have 4 US locations so far, but there is one near by that I stop by from time to time. Considering it's in the same mall as a Lego store, it's not often the best place to find lego and I have yet to see them have any sales or clearance, but sometimes they have old CMF that have sold out other places. They do one of the better selections of Mega I have seen

About Bricklink, it is not a problem. The problem is that we stopped calling a spade a spade. It's hacker's attack, so the only reason why many people and LEGO itself lost - are those criminals who did that.

ToysRus in the USA are in some Maceys dept stores. It stinks about Bricklink I have 2 orders in and just hope I still get them!

Get a fdm 3d printer you can print all of those trays for fraction of the cost your paying in those stores. You can also print pieces that lego has not put out, like true end pieces for your train tracks.

Course I’m in the US. I’d have bought all the city sets dream sets and the little mermaid. My little town doesn’t have stores with Lego have to do online. One day I’ll take a vaca to visit a store that has Lego.

I would of picked up those dagobah diorama sets for investments. The new ashoka sets would have caught my eye just to have. My local supermarket in UK had the modern house with electric car, medium hulk buster, 501st battle pack and obi wans star fighter all at 75% off. Some very good deals that i couldn't pass up. I have just watched interview videos with the designers of the new lunar festival and monkeykid sets for next year, totally blown away by how good they are cannot wait to get a hold of them.

You should give Mega another chance. I built some of their Halo stuff recently and i have to admit that the standard isnt a million miles off Lego any more. If nothing else maybe they will keep Lego on their toes

Regarding Bricklink, some stores may have had their entire inventories compromised, and some users that placed orders may never get their money back. With that perspective, I don't think it's a great look right now to complain that you are delayed placing an order, or that your cart might have disappeared. It comes across as a lack of empathy for the situation, and very 'first world problems' to only think about how it affects you
