When I read the title I thought wow he's going to get a ton of stuff, and as soon as I clicked on the video and found out you were Australian I started to feel bad for you, the sets are almost twice as much as they are here in the states! that's just a huge bummer, I feel bad for you guys.

Yeah but generally, if you convert usd dollar to aud it ends up being the same especially if the dollar is down. But yes overall we have higher prices unfortunately 🤷‍♂️

@@Matts_BrickCollectionWhen you buy in Spain, Europe the price is the same as USA but in euros at the official lego store, for example Ferrari Daytona is 449 dollars in USA and 449 euros in Spain. Luckily, I buy frequently in a sellers that buy a ton of legos and then resell these, in this case I've paid by this Ferrari only 325 euros = 382 dólares at the same condiciones box, sealed, so on, like in the oficial store.

Amazing haul! Rivendell is my favourite there! I feel like that one and titanic will always be my I want so badly, but will have to admire from afar due to their price point.

Hi Matt, my favourite set was the Avengers Tower (I still don’t have one yet as there is no stock in Perth). I just finished building The Eldorado Fortress, which was a great build and I’m hoping to get the Lions Castle next week for my birthday. During 2024 I hope to start on a Medieval MOC and a Pirate MOC. Keep Brickin.

Typically I woudnt purchase a set at msrp for investment, but you must have your way. Love your city layout btw. Big fan!

I wish I would have! I have a few of the modular buildings and if I had kept a second box for investment, I would have made a lot of money now… especially the cafe corner is worth a lot of money now 😥

Surely this would have been better on a double point day?. Also for investment wait until they retire. Here in the UK I have picked up sets with 40 and 50% off including Star Wars Lego. Groot was $90. We have had that here for months at £30.

Unfortunately, waiting for double points sometimes means the sets im wanting may not be in stock at that time. And yep generally thats what you do wait until they retire lol. ✌️

This haul is crazy🤑. If I had to pick a favorite though it would be the Eldorado fortress, it’s the same for me, a nostalgia hit. Close second tie would be the X-Wing and Lions Castle.
