Hey guys! Today I am sharing a huge monthly Costco haul. I was going to wait until later in the week to go to Costco but some of their sales ended on January 26 so I went ahead and got my list together. We are out of several items we prefer to purchase in bulk and also picked up some bigger ticket items. What do you love picking up from Costco?

Recipe suggestion for the Spinach Artichoke Parmesan dip: I cut a small pocket into chicken breast, filled with dip, used a toothpick to secure, seasoned the breast and browned them in a skillet on both sides and finished in the oven until cooked through....it was a winner!

For the steamer, you won't get the same results as an iron, but it does the job. 2 quick tips, Hang the clothes you need to steam on hangers, straight out of the wash and make sure you shake them out to minimise the wrinkles. When steaming, if theres a particularly difficult crease or fold hold the steamer on the spot to "soak" the area, then pull it tight, while it cools

The spinach, Parmesan dip is very tasty!!! I eat it cold. But if you put it in a small casserole dish and bake it for awhile it might be good. I have made a warm home made version of it and it was good warm.

Yup ... mens razors are the way to go and they are typically a bit cheaper than ladies razors. I had the OXO stuff when I moved here 6 years ago, they lasted about 2 years but didn't seal well after that, I might give them a try again as it's just 2 of us now, so less hands on the containers. Lots of great stuff in your haul, thanks for sharing it with us Vanessa.

Thank you so much for sharing. I have been using a steamer fo a few years and I like it very much. I have an extra shower ring on the rod in the bathroom and hang what I am going to steam there. It works out great for me. I have to say I do still use my iron for some things, ie heavy fabrics, but over all I love it and I find hanging from the shower rod allows access easily all around and it cools quickly when I am finished. I hope it works out for you. I will be looking forward to your next video until then please take care and God bless! PS I see everyone saying you should use distilled water in your steamer, I have been using my now for several years, not sure exact but more than five, and I use tap water. It is what was recommended by the manufacturer and it has been fine. I never leave water in it when I am not using it and I haven't had any problems. Just an FYI.

Vanessa, I am by myself and I always use real dishes. I just put them into some hot soapy water for about 15 minutes then put them in the dishwasher. I am with you on the ironing! I hate it! Hi friend, hericots vert are thin green beans. That's how you say it in French. It's pronounced "hair-co-var". You should actually add grain and veg to your homemade dog food. You're correct, dogs are carnivores, however, in the wild when they kill their prey, the very first thing they eat is the digestive tract of their kill, which contains...grains and vegetation. They've found they have found that dogs who eat grain free dog food are dying at high rates from heart problems. Please do some research into this. If nothing else, the grains/veg would not hurt. God bless

I've volunteered in a couple of charity shops that use steamers to get out the wrinkles from donated clothes. My recommendation is to put a few drops of your favourite essential oil in with the water. The clothes you steam will then have a subtle scent from the essential oils.

We use the spinach dip to make a chicken pasta dish. We cook a few boneless skinless chicken breast and chop them up. Add to a box of cooked pasta. Add some of the dip and some heavy cream or milk to thin it out some. Mix it all up and throw in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes to heat everything up.

Vanessa, I remember you and Mark saying you were looking for some furniture for your living room. Have you looked at the sectional couches at Costco? They are really nice, it was suggested to me from another KZfaqrs. I found one I liked but it is currently out of stock and they deliver for an extra $50. Marriage and Motherhood was the KZfaq who suggested it. If you do a slow cooker meal in the IP you need a glass lid. You can get them at Amazon you don’t have one. Great haul, thanks for sharing.

Tip on how to save money on chicken for the dogs: buy whole chickens and just cut them in half and separate the wings and thighs and boil it all together. After boiling, reserve the boiling water, shred the chicken and remove ALL the bones (be very careful with this part). Put the shreded chicken back on the pot with the reserved water (it has lots of flavor) and bring it to a boil again, then add rice and veggies. In the end, you'll get a good mix of rice, chicken and vegetables to mix in with the dog food and its much more affordable than giving them only chicken breast. Plus, it lasts for about a week in the fridge, so you can "meal prep" it. Hope this helps! 😊

Our vet told me to use half as much veg as meat in their food so I measure 1/2 cup of chopped chicken or beef with 1/2 c either green beans, carrots, cauliflower or broccoli cooked and chopped up. They love the veggies. Our dogs don’t eat dry food, they don’t like it. So the fiber in the veggies is good for them. We love Bounty and Charmin and we buy them at Costco.i love that cooking spray and o haven’t been able to find it. I’ll have to look next time I’m there (if I watched this before I went today I would’ve looked today.)

On the Vinegar i heard that was suppose to be good for laundry...never have tried because i thought the clothes might smell like vinegar.... I know i had a quilter tell me to wash fabric in vinegar so it will set the colors. So when you was the quilt the colors will not bleed on each other....Never have tried this either. Was thinking about your Husband... If he likes White Vinegar this is a good dressing! Because the ones at the restaurant are red - it is like a wine or some kind of rasberry and my taste buds do not like red vinegar or whatever it is..... So take a splash of White Vinegar spray a big spray of any oil you have...add a sweetner of choice and salt & pepper to taste. Shake - stir - blend well so the oil & vinegar mixes together. Can add onion powder or garlic powder in this or both to taste...because White vinegar is tart and need get that tartness down....unles you love tart. I do put vinegar on my Spinach with Salt. Have not been told to give up SALT yet! Haha Then when i am finishing up Mayo Jar about 2 big tablespoons - whatever you want! add a big squirt of Yellow Mustard a little sweetner to taste add a Splash of water or Milk. Make this as thin as your want or thick as you want...put the Mayo lid on this and shake up. Pour over salad. This will thicken up after a few times using it...so i just add more water for MY taste and shake it again...So this is like Honey Mustard Dressing! Would put it in your cute JARS but i am out and i have my spices in them....i do put a cracker in the jar so it does not show and the spices do not clump up.... ENJOY! HuGs💗

GreaT idea on that Protein drink....Need to try this....Like you i love Cinnamon...but only difference my taste buds cannot taste it...so when i put more it turns out - ICK....so i have been drinking the flavored creamers-soo bad for you...but not so muc this year....I buy that Maxwell International Coffee - like the Cinnamon dulce and the Pumpkin Spice - the Chi or is it Chi tea coffee...but the cinnamon and pumpkin has not been available this year in my area - but amazon has it....Too expensive. But order the cheapest on like for $5.96 when it should be like $2.99....i need to get myself off of this because at 4 teaspoons full - for a good size mug because the taste buds cannot taste it....just too many carbs....SO i need to do something. LOL I by the Bar S brand bolo there at Walmart when Oscar Myer is not on sale or not cheap enough. I see other stores are starting to carry that Bar S. ME i am not a bolo fan - but have tasted it that brand is good! Not this year but last Year i had to buy my Butterball Turkey's at Walmart because no one was putting them on SALE cheap enough for me....I do not want to pay over $.99 a pound - thought of Walmart because i knew they want people business - i was right paid $.99 a pound that year for the Butterballs..... THANKSGIVING is the only time to buy TURKEY's they are the cheapest then....do not buy them at Christmas - alway higher in price.... will continue.....
