Hey guys! Today I am sharing my Pantry & Food Storage Inventory and how my Fridge & Freezer is organized. We are a family of 7 and definitely a healthy mix of organization and chaos.

I wish I had a pantry in my kitchen. I live in a new home and was surprised they didn't put one in, so I turned my hall closet, which is right around the corner from my kitchen into a pantry, and absolutely love it

We are a family of 4 and I totally keep a lot of extra in our cabinets and freezer... its helped the last few months... in our area the price of beef has almost doubled so have that extra little bit has really helped our food budget a ton!

Love your videos as always... On your bread keep out what you are going to use now .. put the rest in the freezer. Can split it up also and put in the freezer. Been doing this for years... Really works. When you take out of the freezer let it thaw out...or wrap in a paper towel and zap in the microwave open up and let it cool....if you are making a sandwich. Also, can put potato chips in the freezer and cheesto's, Fritos... Straight out of the freezer... yummy

Loved the tour. As a foodie I love all food content, no matter how it’s presented. 😂 Can you tell me where you got your stand alone freezer (that’s in your garage) and the size? I know nowadays freezers are hard to come by but for my space I need one similar to that as a deep freezer wouldn’t work. Thanks for all you do! 🤗

I like food tours, I think it gives lots of good ideas. I too have been keeping more than our usual stock of food, but now that the panic buying has leveled off I feel like I can easily start paring down some of my stock. I think it will be a LONG time before I do another pantry/freezer challenge though.

I buy the bread in bulk, leave one on the fridge and the other three on my freezer. When its time to use them, I just put 1 package on the fridge the night before and it taste as new. I freeze almost everything.

I have a big blue storage closet whit flowers and The signature of the first owners. Its from my relatives in the 1700 centery. Its a traditionell swedish cabinet that the bride and grom often get as a wedding gift.( not now a days) Its very big and swallows a lot of our groseries like pasta spagetti nudles flour suger cans soups catfoods and more. I Think my relatives used it for there sheets and towels. But we have 3 kids and only a very smal frezer and fridge. So we cant by so mutch at a time. We shop 1-2 Times a week. I wish we can by larger next year😄 I have also a lot of Spices. 3 boxes😅😅i often use salt blackpeppar garlic peppar smoked paprika and a pizza spices.( on pizza and spagetti bolognese) Today its taco friday in Sweden 😊😊😊Have a Nice day..🥰🥰

Hey there, I have heard somewhere that the newer fridges do not do well in the garage or also the newer freezers they are not made as well as the older ones that could withstand the heat

You can crush the Cheese-it’s and use them in place of bread or cracker crumbs for breading.

You could crush the Cheez-it crackers to use as a breading for chicken or pork or as a topping on casseroles such as a hash brown casserole

I make cheez-it’s for a living. Try putting them in the microwave and warming them up. They are better warmed up

Vanessa, I use a container of the Premier Protein with a banana, 2T of PB2 Powdered Chocolate Peanut Butter w/Cocoa and ice, for a breakfast smoothie everyday. I do WW and the entire drink is like on 3 or 4 points and its filling and delicious. What a difference between a family of 7 and my family of 2, the food that you showed before shopping, would last my husband and I for a month. LOL. I watched the ads, you are very generous.

I had the issue you are noticing with the refrigerator out in the garage I had that same issue with mine last year and I just changed the setting in the freezer from zero to negative 3 and that helped.

Hi Vanessa! Please let me know if you figure out what is going on with the fridge in the garage. I am having the same problem with my garage fridge! Mine is an old top freezer bottom fridge so it’s our bottom part ( the fridge) that has all of the condensation. It’s still very cold and the freezer seems to be working well also?? I’m so confused as to what’s wrong with it. I’m in Texas also. Thanks so much!

Have you tried the HEB San Antonio and Houston blends? Those are our favs, and we pick up several boxes when we visit home. We’ve been out for a while. 😣 I’m right there with you with spices. My entire pantry door is covered in them (We have an 8 shelf hanging system that I found on Amazon) and a whole 2 door upper cabinet full of spices. We also have 2 fridges and a large 4 shelf standing freezer with drawers... it definitely has been a blessing during this time.

We were having issues where our freezer\ fridge was on but the fan was frozen over and it was defrosting and items weren’t cold enough.

Bread actually lasts longer in the freezer that’s what we do as like you we don’t go through bread too often.

We bought a cheap load, used that then threw the stale bread out and bought good bread and split it in half in the old bag and froze that.

Feta Cheese can be frozen. Place in a freezer bag and remove as much air as you can. Most cheeses freeze just fine. 🧀

I've found that our local Costco doesn't stock all of the things you get at yours. Went to TJ's this am. couldn't find the bird nest you've shown. I'll keep looking. This was only the 2nd time I when to TJ as I have been dealing with pre and post knee replacement over the last 1 1/2 years.

Your pantry is so organized! OMGEEE Your sweet doggie did a little dance when you called him a puppy!! :) xoxo Also, so wondering Paige's vegan pastries..? And if she likes corn dogs like the rest of your family does, Field Roast brand makes some very tasty miniature corn dogs (freezer section) and they are ready in 8 minutes in the air fryer! And I recently discovered that coconut creamer is DELICIOUS when mixed into overnight oats, if that's something Paige likes ;) Oh, I saw your tahini in the pantry and I recently tried BLACK tahini paste and it is SO GOOD compared to the white tahini. Just suggesting if you wanna try something new :) I tried your butcher box link but they are only taking a waiting list right now. Bummer. Oh, and I was thinking about that pulp from your new juicer... you could add that into the dog's food to bulk it up! Betcha they would LOVE it! Thanks for your channel! I'm a new subscriber and totally addicted. lol

Those modern fridges can give us a pain. Specially if they are inverter. Also check the expiration of the filter.

Do you truly feel the price comparison for Butcher Box to buying at HEB is better? I have been debating butcher box honestly and I know you live like 3 hours from me and have a big fam like I do. We love skirt steaks, flank steaks, angus ground beef, and angus hotdogs.
