Hi friend and thanks for being here. I'm really looking forward to the original All Quiet On The Western Front. I did enjoy the remake but most of the time, I find myself enjoying the originals more. I can definitely see how Beau Is Afraid could be a trigger for those of us who have the joy of living with anxiety. That's funny "I passed it on to a friend who can use more anxiety" 🤣🤣 I'm hoping if I share more thoughts on it, the people who really hated it for lack of understanding will be able to get a bit more of the message. My anxiety is really weird and usually related to health panic and agoraphobia so this didn't trigger me too much but definitely had to pause in parts to regroup. I find it amazing that movies purely about anxiety are even being made because back in the day when mine first started, no one even spoke of it and now it's mainstream. Definitely seek out At The Video Store, it's a movie fans dream documentary. The people included are just so passionate about keeping film and physical media alive and creating a space for their community to enjoy it. Thanks so much for watching. 🎃👋👋

Yep. He's absolutely brilliant and with so much training behind him. I really enjoyed learning about his early years and schooling. I actually felt bad that he kind of got talkede in the Freddy role, as much as I enjoy him, because it would have been cool to see what else he would have done. Absolutely agree on all points. I'm working on a video about Korean films so many will be highlighted. I'm a huge fan of these works and so many more. Holy Spider was definitely a tough watch in parts but I love that they don't "clean things up" I find the films to be more impactful, as they should be. One of many reasons I love world cinema. That's great to hear. I'm always happy when I hear that anyone watching is getting some ideas from the movies that are shown. Sometimes I feel like hauls are just a quick run through about what I've grabbed but when I hear people are finding a few titles to investigate, it let's me know they're worth doing. It's so good and if you're into vinyl it's even better. Just to see their process of coming up with these covers was nothing short of amazing. I'm so old school so I've always been into vinyl. I've been collecting it since I was about 15 (I won't tell you how long ago that was🤣🤣) But I'm with you and appreciate the entire process of any form of physical media. Holding a work of art in your hand, cover art, inheritor pictures, lyrics, etc. I agree that it's been lost on younger generations, sadly. This one I grabbed on Orbit so if you're region free or region B, definitely worth adding to your collection. I totally agree with you and both Rio Bravo and East Of Eden deserved better. Especially for the 100 year Anniversary. No slip. No features. No Blu-ray and MSRP at $30?!!! No way. Wait for the Black Friday deals if you want a 4K. That set you have sounds really nice. I have a nice Blu-ray for Rio but no art cards or anything. I did manage to find Digibook releases for all 3 James Dean films though so I'm hanging on to them. Thanks for the recommendation on the Robin Williams documentary. Hi Jon and thanks so much for being here. I'm totally with you on Guardians. What a great surprise that one was. I really had no hopes going into it and then I found myself completely invested. You'll love the 4K of Roman Holiday, it's gorgeous and it does come with a Blu-ray. Sisu is tough to put in a category as far as the violence but it's a bit of all the films you mentioned all wrapped up in one. Like I said, not a ton of dialogue or explanation of how our main guy got into the situation he's in. But it's a war film and he's a total badass. I really enjoyed it and I think you'll like it, too. Definitely check it out and I think a prequel would be so cool because I really want to know more about him and how he got where he is in life. Thanks so much for watching, you're the best. 🎃👋👋
