Coach, kate Spade, and Michael Kors outlets stores have goods that are made for the outlet. The quality is not as high as their main stores but I bought a Coach mini bag called the Tilly bag and I love it. So, I think outlet saves a lot of money and is good quality. Plus, outlet only goods are so cute because they are made for the outlet and not just rejected stock from their main stores.

I would have to say that, for Bottega, they might be clearing out Daniel Lee's designs since he has left. As someone who used to work in a retail Coach store in the US, mainline products do go to Outlet but it can sell out very fast. I also used to work at Moncler in the mainline stores, I got to visit an Outlet after leaving the brand and I did see some styles that I sold prior to leaving the brand. But I also noticed products that could be Outlet only since the style seemed exactly the same as mainline but the pricing was cheaper.

With coach in bicester village you just have to get lucky! i had a friend who worked there so a lot of the 20% off signs apply to more products then what it appears to only apply to, theres usually always an additional discount going on in the store its worth asking one of the associates x

David is such a good helper when you are doing a shopping vlog! I wish you could go into a Coach retail shop. I was actually able to score a Ruby bag (retail bag) at an outlet because it was returned there. I got it for 50% off which was great! That little Givenchy bag was the same color of the Antigona mini I just got. That color is devine!

Well suddenly there was that pair of two-tone ballet flats in my size and I snapped them up. They were in the Coach Shoe Outlet on line store. So yaay! Items that don’t sell well in the regular stores will make their way to the outlets. I know at Coach you can ask the associates which is which. I would assume at the other stores, too.

Outlet stores often sell different versions of designer goods which are cheaper and lower quality than their main retail locations. At least that's the common practice here in the US-- is it the same in the UK?

I’m not sure if outlets are the same in the UK, but in the USA the outlet shops sell items that are very similar to the high street stores but they are made specifically for the outlet. The quality is not as good and the fabric/material isn’t the same. It’s similar, but not the same. Occasionally they will get merchandise from the high street stores that didn’t sell but not all the time. There is a popular US women’s designer that makes highly coveted ballet flats with a large “T” medallion for her first name. Her outlet stores specifically carry items made for the outlet. The leather of those shoes aren’t as soft and the styles aren’t the same. As I’m watching further along in your video, I see you’re in Coach. Coach does make items just for their outlets. In the US the price tag isn’t the same. It’s interesting-if you do a side by side comparison you can see the items are different, but quite similar.

I wonder if the Bottega bags at the outlets still qualify for the lifetime warranty? It’s one thing that has me intrigued by the brand and if I can get the discount with the warranty I’m sold 😅

I have discovered the secret to jumping the queue bat Dior. I have been very I’ll recently & need a wheelchair to get around Bicester. When I ask about the queue at Dior they instantly let me in. This time they didn’t have what I was looking for & the SA I was working with has taken my number & has already messaged me with another couple of colours. I,m so impressed with how lovely they were.

Hi Sophie, I adore your videos and how authenticl you are. In the USA, outlets tend to have handbags or shoes for less but the quality is not the same. Poor quality. Not the same quality as a high end store that may sell the same bag. Do you find this to be true in the UK? Second question, I frequently travel and see duty free store for designer brands. I am always shocked at the prices at this outlet mall - ALL stores at outlet malls - especially Coach - are always less than ticket price AND have additional percentages off. Have you ever asked an associate if the ticketed price is actual final price?

Here’s an idea. If you pay the valet parking you jump the queue. That’s a good idea I think.
