The version Moc Your Bricks built has a smoother overall shape and design, but yours captures the multi-deck man of war she really was.

I love the ship but I wish you didn't make it larger than the set cuz it doesn't look like it fits with the others from the theme but I guess it would be considered a Man O War instead now :)

I notice you used the standard lego ship bases for the bottom of the hull. How did you manage to widen the width (beam) of the ship without extending outward from the base pieces? It seems to be built vertically up from the outer edges of the base. Did you modify the base pieces to make them wider? I'm not aware of lego making wider base pieces. Please explain how you did this. I'm building a big ship myself and whatever you did to widen your ship could really help me out. I'm having to use 2 layers of angled 2×2 bricks (2 bottom 4 top) to widen the hull from the edges of the base pieces and I'm not happy with the look of it. It's really square looking on the ends and hard to blend into the bow. Thank you.

I found out that the closet material you can use for the sales is canvas paper like that artist use its the closes I have seen and felt its nice and thick but yet not paper and not so rough hope it works for you

Even tho this isn't a 100% like the imperial flag ship its more so as if its like a ManOWar version witch would also make sense how he was able to beat all of the other pirate ships :) awesome build

Only issue I have with this moc, the sail with the insignia is meant to be the lower-middle and, lieutenant lesaro had his eyepatch whilst alive

Dilute white glue with water and paint the canvas with it, it stiffens the fabric sails far better than starch!

The sails would look that colour when new, but then the sun would bleach them white with time :)

lego should really make a to scale HMS Endevour from at worlds end, definitely could attract some lego fans who aren't particularly pirates of the caribbean fans
