This day of kayak fishing ended on a very high note. I was not expecting to catch a striper this size in the middle of the day in August, and I didn't even have my 1st person camera on when it happened. Earlier in the morning I searched some boulders for sea bass then moved to a ledge for fluke. Could not find much on the ledge so pushed out a bit further for seabass. On the way in, I just took one drift over a good-sized boulder with the 5.5" Elias shad, not expecting it to actually work!
