If I’m not mistaken Temu has a multi million dollar company and I think they buy some stuff off the brands and sell it for cheap or either remake it with lower quality and different names to keep from getting sued? If that makes sense

I really hate to break this to you, but I’m 95% sure that every “licensed” plush that Temu sells is a bootleg. Especially the shiny Rayquaza plush, as Pokémon Center had stopped producing that many years ago, making it highly desired. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that most sites like Temu and Wish sell knockoffs of official products. I actually do own the Latios shown in this video, I had purchased him at a Comic Con around two years ago, and he is definitely a fake.

@@Yoshi11720 i think i was more worried about it not showing up or it being crappy quality I did happen to get them and they are honestly pretty decent quality I now know for sure nothing is “licensed” but as long as you look at the reviews beforehand, most plushies at least are decent quality

@@tinykqi._.7798 Nice! There actually is a company called Olyfactory that makes stylized knockoff plushies, and I currently own their Mega Charizard X. So if you're looking for a decent plush, they're also an option.

I honestly don't know. The tags are generic but the quality seems on par with retail stuff. I don't know if they're using different tags at the factory or if they are knockoffs altogether

@neo8378 it's really hard to say. I know fakes are getting really good these days but in this case I would say even if they are it wouldn't bother me because they are so detailed

I think it's about expectations. The quality and price vs the real thing is hard to beat but obviously original is always better

@@show-me-retro True enough. I actually do own that same Latios plush, bought him at a con around two years ago. He's slightly larger than the one you own, though. I also have a knockoff Kyogre who I have cherished for many years without realizing he wasn't authentic. Every now and then, I will intentionally purchase a bootleg, such as my mirage Pikachu plush. Mirage is a term generally relating to obscure, unlicensed Pokémon plush made in the 90s. They actually go for a lot of money since no one is able to track their exact origins, some sell for up to 200$ or higher. Sorry if it feels like I'm rambling on and on, as I have a fascination with peculiar bootlegs! They can be so goofy and unique at times.

The glossy ones are waterproof, not the crappy matte ones

@show-meretro I buy a lot of stickers from temu. The glossy ones have a film that protects them if water falls directly on top of it but if water lands on the edges it wets the paper underneath. The matte ones are vinyl. Vinyl is plastic and doesn't get wet at all. At least all the matte ones I have received have been vinyl. I gave some of those stickers out on halloween and typically sell them at events for $2 each. I tend to put then on my water bottles thats how I know the shinny ones are only "water proof" if water lands directly on top of them. Again I may be wrong about the ones you specifically showed but from my experience the matte ones i received were vinyl. Buying from vendors with video and picture reviews always helps me avoid buying something I may not like. But I get ya, I "resell" jewelry from temu. I typically repackage it in nicer packaging and with earrings I removed the posts they come with and buy better ones at hobby lobby to avoid people's ears getting allergies. 😅 can't trust those metals from China. 😋

Temu unfortunately discontinues some of their products since this video has been uploaded. Whether due to copyright or other factors so some of the items featured are sadly no longer available. Also searching directly for mario doesn't always bring you to the right stuff since it's not described as Mario because of copyright infringement
