My ex-wife loved this movie to the bone. We even searched for the bookshop, the market, and the elusive blue door! It's been 20 years, wow! And such a lovely cause to donate to....the readers of Horse and Hound will be absolutely delighted!

I love this movie, in fact, I adore this movie, have watched it in excess of 24 times, I know all the dialogue, and of course, love Julia Roberts. I think the pairing of Julia with Hugh Grant was a terrific choice. The movie is a romantic, comedic, charming, movie with a beautiful story involving a world class actress meeting just a regular guy, and the blossoming relationship that occurs......I actually travelled to London and visited Notting Hill and the book shop where it was filmed........I smile every time I watch it and when Julia says the words "INDEFINITELY" near the end, I have tears in my eyes.....followed by Hugh Grant saying...."the readers of Horse & Hound will be delighted"

DRA MARTHITA I did it, 2 years ago. As soon as we left the suitcase at the hotel, my sister askes me... What do you wanna do? And I said, we must go to Notting Hill. I remember when we were at the corner of portobello road my heart was beating so fast, I was so excited... And of course, my picture with the original blue door. A dream come true. Hugh is so handsome, his voice and smile and particular sense of humor.... I totally love him. We missed those romantic movies.... Best regards from Mexico.

I work in an office about 20 minutes train journey away from that road and I've never been to see it. I should be ashamed. Maybe I'll visit it this weekend after my trip to the musuems.

My beloved wife of 31 years this year absolutely adores this film. Down to Hugh Grant really but I'm not jealous. A number of years ago 4 and a 1/2 to be precise, this love of my life was diagnosed with breast cancer it has changed our lives forever but in many ways it has brought us closer together if that is possible. The Marie Keating foundation helped me through a very difficult time in my life and I would ask anybody to contribute to whatever way you can. Martina and I are still going strong but I would be worried if she ended up meeting Hugh Grant. 😃😃

Just rewatched Notting Hill, and it made me feel so emotional. Missing London and particularly that bit of it. I am glad to say I got my picture in front of that blue door ♥️ Love you, Hugh Grant ♥️♥️

Prolific she is.. Just got dumped.. Woo hoo what love would that be that jumps moment to moment ..still happiness and love is profoundly internal

Now it's been 25 years and it's one of my favourite female/love movies of all :) beats out even My Best Friend's Wedding which also has Julia Roberts with alot of drama and comedy by her and many actors but not as strong as Notting Hill 😊

I showed this to my mother (who is slightly in love with Hugh Grant) and now she is desperate to win. I’m sad it’s donation driven though because we can’t afford a bigger donation and that would decrease our chances of winning. It’s an incredible charity though, so I can’t grumble too much.

I arrived in London in 1963 with a friend Geoff. We found a flat in a house not far from Earls Court. I loved London and stayed 6years at the same adress .. Geoff still is in England. He rang me last year and told me that Hugh grant has purchased the house we lived in in the 60,s. Beautiful house.. LOL xxxx

Hugh is one of the people I have a respect, as if he is one my best friends for years...and I would definately drink tea with him. It is amazing though that I lived in UK for one Year and I was searching in the night the colorful houses once apon a time passing through the local area in London...Never found them😔😌

This is the first time I saw this..wow..I loved that movie and watch it a couple of times a year.I have even sat down to learn some of the background music when he goes to see her at the movie set.That was a romantic movie..my wife & I love it..I think it is my favorite of all..I think this is one of the most loved modern era movies of all actually.. I hope this Charity drive was successful. A beautiful idea...thanks Hugh : )

I know what' its like to go hungry as a child. Its not their fault. I used to cry ,watching children dump milk ,sandwiches, and so forth, over the grassy banks of Haliburton Ontario Canada. I was raised to be to polite , and my daughter forfeited 2 Christmases while her $ for presents went to feed the children in Ghana West Africa, and give them a well as well!

Love love love love love this movie and Hugh Grant of course 😍 I won't say how many times I've watched it. Oh alright then, probably in excess of 200 times 😵 How that DVD didn't self destruct, I have no idea. Closely followed by Titanic with surround sound blowing the walls out, then 3 weddings and a funeral

Hey something about that film. Just after the orange juice spill a tall trendy guy with shaven head is seen leading a very small child. Later they reappear in the lane next to the bookshop. last scene the child is alone but for older lady asking her what is she doing there? So what do those bit players mean? What is the story/subplot??
