Awesome, I've watched this video about 50 times and it's much better than the usual mix juggling clips. This isnt just a cacophony of scratch noises but there is some musical value in there too.

Always amazed when I come back to this video. I had doubts about scratching, but seeing him live at Astropolis in 2010 was enough to convince me about this guy's talent. And ability to entertain when needed.

To all the people saying this is fake you have absolutely NO idea what you are talking about so shut da f**k up. Kentaro is the best Dj I have ever watched and I've seen them all. He blew away everyone last time he came to Australia and the crowd was full of Dj's shaking their heads in disbelief. Simply amazing talent. 10/10

so awesome! saw this guy at Cargo in London a few years ago, one HELL of a live act. I have no idea what he was playing but it brought the place to its knees.

His timing is actually pretty perfect.. he doesn't miss a single beat.. and the structure is actually phrased very well. Maybe the patterns are too complicated for you to follow..

"Stop hating" is exactly what I wanted to say to you. I love this guy too and I can only dream of ever scratching and juggling the way he does, but I don't look down onto Club DJ's. It requires less technical skills altough they're always a good addition, but Club DJs spend way more time expanding their music collection. Knowing how to play a crowd is an art as well. Put Kentaro in a 6 hour Mix in a club and you're bored to death, Fatboy SLim could do it sleeping. On a concert though... Kentaro

last night i went to your gig at Bed(Bangkok) It was an awesome night.. you ROCK!!!!

I watched the same thing, but I realized that those things had a small "arm" out to hit the sway-bar for the phono-pickup to end up on the outer position. So it's like hit put a "loop" machine on it. And amazing as he is.. it loops perfectly. Go DJ Kentaro. See you in Shibuya tonight.
