On review today is a Made in Turkey Huglu HRZ 201 Side by Side 12ga Shotgun.
This is a modern 'old school' shotgun.
It has 3" chambers, chrome lined barrels, and removable chokes; so a fully modern, yet old in function side by side shotgun with the real hammers and double trigger.
Fit and finish is decent, the triggers are direct, but heavy.

Saving for this firearm. Here in the states it is imported by CZ USA. Been intrigued for quite awhile. I appreciate your review.

it's really nice; only gripe is the triggers are heavy, but i've heard CZ will adjust that. Huglu has zero service centers in NA, so, i'm on my own for the triggers. that's the premium the CZ affords you.

Yes, it will use 2 3/4 and 3"

Oh your version is 28”. The one distributed by CZ is a 30”

i think CZ has (or had) several lengths available in the US market in the hammer classic; from a coach gun all the way up to a 32, including a 30. Think the available lengths are: 20, 24, 28, 30, 32. The 20 does not have choke options though and is cylinder.

@@attananightshadow I just special ordered the 20". I was contemplating getting the 30" for target shooting. Let's see if the finances will allow it in the future haha.

you could if IC or a Cylinder choke is used.

This is the closest you’ll get to an English double with hammers, if that’s what you’re wondering. I really want one too. Just not willing to pay $200,000 for one. Even the Baikals are $5000.
