Definitely one of the best Hulkouts. Lou’s performance is excellent; see how well he plays the Hulk trying to understand Brandon. Superb!!

Agreed. Lou Ferrigno's Hulk (my favorite) wasn't a mindless monster. He fought for and protected people in danger. He always seemed to know which puny humans were trustworthy and which ones to take down. Mark Ruffalo says he based his Hulk on Lou's.

I get the chills to this day when his anxiety triggers the hulk then banner says " GET OUT GET OUUUTT"! like a demon...lol...the hulk is the best.👍🏻💯 One of many awesome hulk outs. I miss Bixby.🙏🏻💚

What makes this scene work so well is how you see David wrestle with both the plane and his condition at the same time. And yet the captain continuously counseling him in his ear, works on the same level of a. Subliminal message. It's the last thought that David has in his mind as the Hulk takes over. And the sound gradually descending into an echo conveys how far David is slipping away from consciousness as the transformation continues to progress.

It was funny when the control tower was instructing David to STAY IN CONTROL. David is the last person that can STAY IN CONTROL.

I,ve never tired of looking 👌at the TV series of this show because it was ahead of its time and to this day the Marvel's comics and movies can't lay glove on what the TV show was to me the series will always be number one

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the fact that the kid in the cockpit with David is the same kid who played Bill Bixby's son in "The Courtship of Eddie's Father"

Interesting how even very early episodes of the series are built around inserting Hulk into Universal Pictures stock footage. This one is reusing the great aerial scenes of Airport 1975 (the only great thing in that movie) and two episodes later we get a Hulk recut of Steven Spielberg's Duel.
