Fully agree. The Qur'an gives the opposite ' be ye apes and swine..'.as a way of distinguish us from animals.

Animal comes from "animate"... we are life forms that move which makes us animals, the term animal has often been conflated with wild beasts. Just because we are animals does not make us "wild" or "beasts"
