HUMAN DESIGN AURA TYPE - Manifesting Generator... A Man's Perspective

Human Design shows you where and how to access your body’s consciousness as a decision-making tool, and ultimately, how to live as your true and authentic self. One of the first steps in Human Design is understanding your energy type, and by using your energy correctly, you can eliminate resistance and move through life with more ease and flow.
In this video, we discuss the Manifesting Generator type, characteristics, and gifts as well as some of the conditioning and the challenges I've faced as a man trying to live my design.
Here is a quick overview of Manifesting Generators:
Make up 32% of the population and have an open and magnetic aura
Their role in humanity is to be an express builder, building and doing what we love in a much quicker way than the other energy types
Have a defined sacral centre that provides sustainable energy, along with a defined motor connected to the throat
We’re multi-passionate and experimental learners
We can work through tasks in a very efficient manner, understanding which steps can be skipped and which can’t
The Strategy for a Manifesting Generator is to wait to respond
Our signature theme is satisfaction while our not-self theme is frustration

This is a really good video. You speak in everyday tones, instead of trying to be some sort of big-time authority. I’m a female Emo MG, but I too struggle with surrendering. I’m just starting to practice. Much to learn.

Great video. I’m just learning about this and I’m 47 and wish I would’ve discovered it sooner. I’m an MG 3/5 and feel like I’ve been living my not-self my whole life. Constantly frustrated and jumping from one thing to another. This is one of the best videos on this topic I’ve seen so far. Thank you for sharing your information!

Thank you for taking the time to comment and share your experience. I completely understand the feeling of bouncing around for so long before finding your footing. I'm hoping at this point you can see the beauty in the journey as you approach things with grace and ease. Hopefully you no longer feel like a pinball in a pinball machine! Sometimes I feel like we truly grow into our adulthood in our 30's and 40's, so now that you have the lessons, it will be nice to see where your wisdom from your experiences take you.

I feel you, i'm in my 40's and just now am learning this as a MG 6/2. BUT even in my so many years of feeling a bunch of hit & misses, my spirit confirmed that this was more about gaining information in our lives. In the second half is where a lot of us are meant to shine, turning that information into wisdom for the coming generations. I know it sucks seeing all these younger ones "get" it. But its so cool that we can honor this time in awareness. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm passionate about sharing what I've learned in hopes it resonates with others. I felt suffocated in a culture that tried to define who I should be and with the realization that we are who we're meant to be, it's important for me to share my learnings in hopes it helps others shift from what they think they should be doing, to what they are meant to be doing.

You Nailed it! Or least I am so happy to have had this pop up for me.. A long lived manifesting generator... Waiting is the game we play when we do the work of deprogramming... Can be very frustrating .. So much energy and ideas and ...... Thank you. Do you do readings for HD... I had my first one in 1998... But it was not very k ow then and we did it by hand now it's a whole new game... Waiting for the moment to arise.. Thank you...

And I completely understand! I noticed that as we lean more into our design, over time we understand that there are constantly things to respond to. The beauty is definitely in using your strategy and authority to figure out where you really want to use your energy. Definitely continue to experiment with your design, as you'll start to notice that even with the abundance of energy Man Gen's have, when you respond to the things that you really love to do, that's what will give you an incredible amount of satisfaction and energy.

Really good work, thank you! I recently discovered that I was a manifesting generator, what an "I" opening experience. I was a successful DiSC personality profile trainer for over 20 years. Human design is a much better manifest of personality types and how they operate.

Great video however i think the part about your emotional authority could be confusing... waiting for enotions is only important for 50% of MGs. For me an instant decision is usually best.

Is this the same for generators? I’m a little confuse with “waiting for things to show”. Is this the same as seeing something online and then responding to it? Can you give examples?

This is a great video brother, though I would say that using the word "desires" can be easily misinterpreted as our sense of "desire" is what is generally what is being minipulated and clouded. There is also a lot of societal conditioning around that term that csn push people away (desires vs principle) or pull people towards justifying theit baser urges. Either way, they miss your greater point. When you spoke on intuitions, it hit different. I'd alternate between the terms alignment/core-drivers/intuitions/callings, when speaking about these things with the various types. That said, I'm also a Reflector, so my first-hand perception may be different than yours.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I agree when it comes to many of the terms relating to desires - one's understanding may not align with the messaging because everyone's interpretation of the terms may vary. My hope is that people understand that their true "desires" are given to them - they're the desires of the soul and lead us to our purpose. The challenge is - can one discern what's meant for them, vs. what conditioning and programming tells them. Hopefully in understanding Human Design, others can discern the difference between what is truly meant for them (authentically you) vs. what they've been conditioned to believe is meant for them.

I've been waiting 10 years for something to excite me enough to do with my life. I'd love to go back to study and get a certification, but what? Every option I've heard, my answer is "meh". How much longer can I wait until a YES?

It sounds like you're paying attention and waiting to respond to the right thing which shows you're trusting your design. Maybe it's about continuing to be patient and waiting for the right opportunity - in some cases it's not about going back to school, but taking everything you love and turning it into something you can make a career out of? I used to believe that to be successful, you had to go to school and get the credentials, but I'm starting to see that if you're truly in alignment, you may not necessarily need credentials to get you to where you need to me. If you follow your heart and listen to your sacral it tends to lead you to where you need to be.

@allygaretzka2323 - In terms of careers and professions, it may be helpful to get a sense of what you are interested in, as no matter what our energy type, I feel that following a path that lights you up is hugely important. All that to say, you have the benefit of having both the life force energy that drives you and the Manifestor side that can bring ideas to fruition. Being in a space where you feel you have some creative control or can bring your ground breaking ideas to the forefront would be great. Also entrepreneurship since you would inherently have more creative freedom. Hopefully that helps!

HD is still too high level. Not enough actionable details that lead to results

Whether or not one sees HD as too high level, or sees it as detailed and in depth, depends on the results that you receive. Sometimes, the simplest things have depth and detail, however because we've been taught to use logic, we view them as not detailed enough. In the case of HD, using logic to explain it may not allow you to see the depth it offers. I can only speak for me and my clients, and we have garnered incredible detail from delving into HD
