Yes, I have had the experience many times of being super excited about a path, informing others, then discovering it’s not for me. No one got it. Most saw that as flaky, despite my being a published author, a professional artist and having a master’s in international public health. I discovered that the ‘informing’ bit should never be implemented until after you have ‘tried on’ your path flavor of the month and determined whether it is actually the right fit for you. Only then, once I KNOW I will pursue that path/interest/endeavor do I now inform others. It has made a world of difference in my life as a manifesting generator.

Thank you! This is so valuable for Mani-Gens to know! It really resonates with me. I used to feel shame about having been in many relationships and questioning whether I have the ability to love unconditionally. But seeing this makes me feel like, no, I am responding and informing. I just need to be better about trusting my gut and letting go. It is necessary for the universal collective energy. Phew. :)

This video has helped to alleviate some of the guilt I have felt when I have tried things that others have suggested I am good at, but ultimately, don't end up enjoying. Some of your words in this video had a profound, transformative affect on me, and I am grateful to you for that. 😄 I have recently had my 41st birthday, and have still not discovered what it is I want to do in life. I am trying to concentrate on being grateful for the moments I enjoy, and trusting that more will come. I am hopeful that a passion will be sparked in me one day that will lead to the perfect creative outlet for me, and this will light up my being! Thank you for teaching me it is okay to wait, and I need not feel guilty for not having found a pursuit that speaks to my soul, even this late in life. 🥰

I have learned to give myself permission to change my mind a long time ago and it’s a comfortable place to be in, especially after you let people know about it. Rather than actually trying something to see if I like it, i play the mental game of … how it feels if i take a certain path versus a different path. This game gives me the gut feeling I need to make a decision. I enjoyed your description of manipulating generators. Thank you for making this video.

Absolutely my experience as a manifesting generator! The amount of shame and guilt I’ve beat myself with over “changing course”. And then yes, trying to “force” the direction (I have personally done largely due to external conditioning…at least I understand it this way this moment😂) only creates more guilt and shame -frustration- cuz I can’t “stick with the program which is usually falling apart at the seams. The struggle is real 😂 I really appreciate you sharing your perspective, it has been very helpful for me 💚

Yes, I recently switched my path. I dropped out of art school in Rome after 2 months (but I stayed in Rome for 10 months) to move back home to Sweden. Because it felt right. Now I’m starting to live accordingly to my design and my energy is BURNING! but I have this inner answer, like I feel when I don’t want to do something by feeling contraction or like the inner energy is fading, and when I’m feeling “yes” it’s like this bubbly, almost this expansiveness in my heart. And it makes me so confused when everyone say “gut” because I feel it in the heart (I also have my sacral connected to the heart, spleen and the throat. I’m a so called pure manifesting generator, and heard that we maybe can feel rather than needing the sacral responses? And right now I’m in this expansive energy, and feel all bubbly and all over the place, but SO satisfied hahaha… So I’m guess I’m doing it right 😂 Thank you for the video btw ❤

Wow I’m speechless. This was amazing. I didn’t seek out information on Human Design, I just landed on a Gaia interview with someone that does it and a mention of this guy named Ra came up, the suggestion to look him up on KZfaq. I watched a few min, didn’t like my gut feeling.. then saw your link! But you, you definitely had a better gut feeling. And that’s how it is, just knowing what I know but not really why. So.. yes everything you said was spot on. I just did a free design map today and it says Manifesting Generator. Literally I was laughing out loud with how spot on you are! I just realized my frustrations end in anger and feel like a reading could really help with that. I feel like I need 40 hour days to put time into all the new things I’m trying! I have 5 different ‘hobbies’ going on, extremely time consuming but all so interesting. Anyway, I need to find your website, see about this reading. Thank you! Toodles…

Thank you! There is a sense of relief, and also celebration, that comes with understanding that I am- and why I am- a multi-hyphenate person. I’ve always known that I have these refractory periods when I need rest and need to feel/research before making the next life decision. But sometimes I’m teased or am hard on myself because this timeline seems slow. But now I view this as power, and just as it is, so I’m wanting to adjust to this rhythm in a more accepting way.

Thank you for this information! I definitely relate to growing up with so much shame around being told I was "wrong" for the way I wanted to "be". I LOVED the reassurance of "the rest of the world will catch on" Conditioning and expectations have always been an issue. I heard many things that have validated my experience so far, and I just got started with HD. Especially feeling like a "failure" because as mentioned, things change once a choice is made. I usually do not like making such big changes and I truly value my freedom. I am also relating to feeling trapped and like I haven't been able to be "myself" due to being around people who do not want to understand me. 💫 5/1 Heretic Investigator Thank you so much for outlining and explaining this in order, I was really overwhelmed. I truly cannot wait to understand my centers, gates and channels next

Hi Veronica, this content was just what I needed! You gave a great suggestion about the waiting phase, as you said it's the most frustrating because you feel like you're wasting your time. I have to constantly remind myself that I have to wait to respond and I have to focus on the things that excite me the most! How can it be so hard to focus only on the things we love 😂? And you know what? I think I've just discovered something I didn't know about manifesting generators. I'm the type that has to "try" to get an answer from the sacred that makes them understand if it's the right thing. But now I know that it's not "starting and never finishing anything" but a way to understand. Thank you so much 💖

I think the reason many people find it so hard to follow what brings them joy is because we are often taught very early on in life that "life isn't all about having fun". Which although is true in part, it sets people up to believe that it's unrealistic (and socially unacceptable) to build a life based on the things that they do find fun and joyful! - This is why a journey of deconditioning and letting go of external expectations is to important x x

Yes this often resonates with MGs and once you learn to appreciate this decision making process and lean into it, it becomes much easier to honour what you need to find the "right" decision for you

Absolutely love this! Thank you!! Do you know what proportion of the population are MGs? I definitely have more of a gut reaction when trying something than before doing so- but I guess the proof is in the pudding! but definitely get more of a 'sense quicker' then & set about tweaking/ changing course (life sometimes feels to comprised solely of that!!! I just want to settle!!), than others in same situation, thinking to a recent example in my life ... taking the same example - thinking back I probably did have a twinge of this when making the decision (a little bit was saying, eek - it'll be us it won't work for' ... and it was!!! lol!!) ... it makes sense that it's the double pull of manifestor and generator ... And the whole hussle of 'going out there and making it work, putting your dream into reality' that we are 'fed' in society - only belongs to manifestors then? What proportion are they??!! I'd imagine small!!!

Thank you so much for watching and for leaving this comment! So MGs are the 2nd most common energy type after pure Generators and they make up around 34/35% of the population. You can actually tell from your chart if you have more Generator or Manifest energy as although you'll have a blend of both the ratio can differ! Pure Manifestors are the second rarest energy type after Reflectors and they make up around 8/9% of the population. We can all absolutely turn our dreams into reality and manifest the things that we want BUT what is important to understand and what Human Design helps with is to recognise that the WAY we are designed to do that is different for everyone and not the 'One size fits all approach' that we are often given x x

Feeling like I should be doing things ~and I’m not. Clearing my mind of anything that is not a right fit for me. Stuck. Doing life that doesn’t move me forward ~definitely people pleasing. I’m frustrated ~ don’t want to let something go for fear of looking like a failure or quitting. But my gut ~tells me to let go. Why am I on this hamster wheel?

A big part of aligning to your Human Design is deconditioning...learning to let go of beliefs and behaviours that no longer serve us. Unfortunately we all spend decades of our lives living the way we "should" instead of the way we want to and therefore those behavioural patterns and ways of thinking become our comfort zone (even when that comfort zone doesn't make us happy). I think the more important question than why you are on the hamster wheel is how you can get off it! Where there's a will there's a way 🙌

You can do it! Maybe your success comes with mixing all those interests or simply making peace with the idea that for you success looks like following your interests and passions no matter how often they change or where they take you as long as you are happy whilst you are doing it!

Hi! I came across your video and I'm a MG and I keep trying to understand my energy better. The waiting to respond, could it be something like preparing your energy to have things to respond to? Like for example watching videos on youtube to set your mood and activate your response to actually do the thing. I am an artist and I have a vision of what I want to create, but I usually struggle with being consistent. I usually light up when I remind myself of what I am trying to achieve, and sometimes that is through external inspiration like listening to artists I admire, listening to music or getting inspired by artwork or images. I usually end up always waiting until I have that energy to keep creating, but it takes a bit of time to get to that "gut" feeling to respond and initiate. Does this make sense?

I feel the same way I hate applying for a job because I feel like they need me and I’m over qualified for the position because of my passion and the energy that I bring is unmatched and it attracts a lot of haters it’s the process for me I wondered why I hate filling out job application etc

Yes when it comes to following your Strategy, the aligned way for MGs to attract aligned opportunities is to respond. So, instead of creating a new job from scratch you would be making yourself available for opportunities to come to you and respond to them accordingly x

Thank you for the video! Does this mean that a MG cannot just go and start their own business? It's been definitely frustrating wanting to create my own biz but having so many ideas and feeling lost as to which to choose and unable to go past the idea's phase.... Is it possible for a MG to act on an idea and start a biz? Or just has to wait to respond to opportunities and work for others?

ABSOLUTELY! I know and work with loads of MGs who are incredible and successful Entrepreneurs. It is just about learning to work WITH your energy instead of against it. Hi Veronica. Question: As a manifesting Generator, not supposed to manifest, can I send out Invitations to f.e. my partner a projector? Or am I manifesting?

Yes if your focus is on responding rather than just following random urges. Think of it as a dance, where your invitations are in response to things you notice/see/hear/experience from the other person which create a gut response in you. Hope that makes sense and hope it helps! 🙂

Great question! I don't like to view Human Design as a tool that is in any way limiting, my view is that any combinations can work, whether that is based on energy types, profiles etc. but the key is that both parties understand their differences and are able to compassionately support one another to thrive in their own unique way 💛

I’d love to know how to align my human design type, feminine energy and creating what I want (sourcing wants/needs) ? How do you balance waiting with ceasing opportunities and taking immediate action. Or does this come under responding because the opportunity is there infront of you, your not seeking it? Or should new opportunities be waited on to? What if it’s a full on heck yes as soon as it presents?

I would practice making those decisions based on your authority to ensure that whether you say ‘heck yes’ in the moment or take your time to reflect, the decision remains aligned to you. Do you know what authority you have? X
