Tax should be around R 19 183.42, if he claims his tax returns, s/he should get around R2800pm back(Unless we count the 6k allowance). I don't get why this company adds & subtracts the car allowance, that increases tax. Let him drive the company car, only use it for business use & exclude it as a fringe benefit. What is the 6k allowance for? Does he know he can opt out of these things? S/he needs to sit with a tax practioner, for some advice? R 63 600.00 - R 16 424.17 - R4 770 - R 177.12 = 42 228.71. His salary would increase by almost R9k if s/he let go of the car thing. They simply added R7075.30 & then subtracted it. Because s/he uses the petrol card for personal use. Unless he claims the vat on petrol & insurance, this doesn't seem worthwhile.

Eish the tax is and other deductions is abit on the high side. Anyway i know someone in HR at Business Partner level. Salary aligns with that payslip. Theres good pay in HR if you are targeting big international companies
