I love Grand Turks and this hummer excursion! It was a nice day to explore the island in this cute electric hummer.
Excursion Tips:
Pack an #Excursion bag to include for this excursion your valid State driver license, sunscreen, power charger bank to charge cell or camera and as well as any required medication and cash for purchases.
Note: 2 to a hummer no single riders.

We are also taking a cruise to grand Turks..is the beaches better else where or the one off the cruise ship fine?

My top Beach is Grace Bay. That you would be were I would go but I make sure I had enough time paying close attention to what time to be back on ship. You can rent a golf cart but I am not sure of the price. So the first thing if you decide to stay next to the ship is go early to get chairs which are free. Don’t forget to have water shoes since it was lots of rocks. My friend saved me a seat. You can snorkel etc but it’s very crowded since it’s an easy walk from the ship. And you have to deal with vendors that will try to sell you chairs for the day the further you go down the beach and other items.

Hello Mr. Willenberg, I didn’t see any restrooms. It may be one when they stop in the town area where there was restaurant and shops.

Hello Ms. Samson, I booked them through the excursion desk on Carnival Freedom but when you arrive there is a book for excursions in the plaza.

Did you book this with the cruise line or separate?

I book this with the cruise line but you can do it separately. Here is the pros and cons. Pros if for any reason that the excursion is late the ship will wait for your group to return. Cons if you for any reason you just book an excursion separately and they run late you can be left behind. It’s a personal decision on which way to go and I do price out which one is more economical for the activities I do.

I booked this for my cruise when you stop at the shops is it strictly just cash? And do they take US dollars?

Hello, I booked it through the cruise line so I am not sure. I recommend having a credit card and cash to pay for excursion with you and additional cash since I tipped the guides. Also, have your driver license with you since they will need that information. If both you and traveling partner want to drive you can switch out at the stops.

I really liked the excursion. Inside each hummer the tour guide told you what you was passing and it was nice to stop at each location and support the local businesses in the downtown area. Yes it was worth $$$. And I am not saying that because I’m a travel advisor. It was just a fun guided drive.

@@sweetdreamztravelagency Thanks! We just did it last week and it was really fun. No swimming either - the tide and waves were a bit big and current strong. But such a fun time and beautiful water. What we did was just go to the beach in the morning and booked this excursion in the afternoon

From the Ship do they take you to the Hummer? And take you back to Port?

It’s a short walk to a booth which was in the shopping area. There you will check in and they escort you over to the cars. Please make sure that you bring driver license with you. The cars sit up to 3 or the other person will be in car with another single rider and you then can take turns driving if you choose

@@WickedDragonX normally not they prefer 2 to a car. They will have another solo person in car with you.

We just booked this, can the vehicle hold the 3 of us ?

Yes it can hold up to 4. It was a fun experience driving and the guide you will hear by a speaker that is in each car. Please make sure that you have your driver license with you. I did go to AAA to get an international license since I travel outside the United States.

Please double check with Royal customer service on this excursion that nothing has changed as far as the cars seating 3. Also just to be clear I used my state issue driver license but I have an international one as well.
