Mine was doing that I went and Replaced The Ac unit, Drier, orfice tube filter tube, vacuum the system added 1.6lbs of R134a Freon PROBLEM Solved!! Im a retired GM Tech worked on many of these, now Ive fixed my own 2006 H2 Hummer Pickup..

What’s wrong with rolling with windows down ?

There is a inlet and outlet on your compressor. There are crush washers under the inlet and outlet located on the compressor. One(depending on your configuration) or two bolt that fasten it(inlet/outlet) to the compressor. Over time from the constant motion the crush washers(copper) develope leaks and in my experience 7 out of ten times it has been these washers. To replace,You must recover your refrigeran. Pull a vacuum, find out your vehicles refrigerant capacity got to wal mart, buy the little $ 4.98 r134 a cans they are 12oz, fill to vehicle capacity. 😂😂 Be cool

Please let me know what you find out with the ice possible message, I replaced the sensors also and still get the message from time to time.

The cars that I am familiar with do NOT let the compressor come on when freon is low. Can someone confirm (low freon, no compressor)? Meaning if compressor kicks in, it is NOT low freon?

Ten cuidado siempre usa la manga con el reloj ya que si le echas de más rompe mangas o otra cosas .. yo la semana pasada compré la manga con reloj y en el mismo empaque te dice cuánto libras le tienes que echar en mi caso leí y me dice que como el ambiente en puerto rico es más o menos 80 grados de calor entonces lo más que puedo echar es de 40 a 45
