Hello and welcome to Wild Country Adventures. In this video I will be replacing the front drive shaft assembly in my 2007 Hummer H3. The assembly includes the front drive shaft, cv-joint and u-joint. This is actually and fairly easy fix.

How to know when it´s time to replace it? Did the driveshaft start to make noises or rattle?

If I’m only replacing front driveshaft can I just lift the two front tires off the ground? Or does it need to be all 4?

I'm not sure if it's the same or not. Never worker on a H2.

A year later is that propshaft still going good? I bought the same one and it lasted less than a 1000 miles before it cooked all the grease.

Yes probablly. Also, bad cvs will cause a clicking noise

I was working third shift at the time of the repair and night just happened to be when I had the time to do it.
