Arches 100% cotton paper
tube watercolor- pale yellow, medium yellow, medium red, medium green, burnt umber , rose, black, turquoise blue, dioxide purple
Grumbacher no 10 golden edge brush

My sister-in-law & myself painted "live" with you today. You are fast! So glad we can stop & back-up. Had so much fun, and 2 beautiful paintings. I actually did a second painting after she left on a Hahnemuehle watercolor "postcard" (230g/m,105lbs rough) that I got for Christmas. Bit harder on that paper but successful none the less. I enjoyed doing this although I wish you showed how to draw the bird and the flowers and the coloring process but I understand this video is for techniques and the colors all I really enjoyed this!

This is another great tutorial. I love birds (nature) but wouldn't have tried them until I saw this. You made a serious impression on me in the last several days. I know you say it frequently but I HEARD it ... "have fun" and boy am I ever. I've finished pieces I would have tossed and ended up loving them just because i decided that it was my painting and i was truly having fun. Thanks!!
