ASMR Eating Sounds: Coffee Scroll Buns & Soy Latte (Mostly No Talking)

On today's menu: some yummy coffee scroll buns that I purchased from the supermarket (Coles, Australia)!
These are a bread-like bun filled with raisins and topped with a coffee-flavoured icing/fondant. Because too much coffee is never enough, I washed this deliciousness down with a soy latte from my local coffee shop. :p

I do and I'm not sharing! 😋 This video was supposed to be posted yesterday, but thanks to incessant construction sounds in my street I was unable to film it on time. :( Furthermore, I had issues uploading it to KZfaq last night which is why it has been posted a little later today. #youtuberstruggles. Also, Herbie Fam, you may start seeing ads before my videos now. That's because after waiting 6 patient* months (for what should have been a one-week turnaround prior to November 2017 - but we won't get into that... cough cough), KZfaq has finally monetised my channel! :) *Mostly patient, sometimes wanting to Hulk smash my pillow and swear more than I do in my bloopers videos. 😜

Haha the intro 😂😂 you’re so funny girl. Wow I haven’t had a coffee scroll in such a long time, those were my favourite and mum and I used to buy them all the time at the bakery 😍 some can be hit or miss though, as in some dry and some soft. ❤️

Hi Tanya! I'm so sorry, I don't always get notifications for every comment (especially on older videos) so I just went back to check your question and I'll answer it both here, and there. :) 1.) I'm not sure you ever can entirely remove the nutty taste. That said, it doesn't taste super nutty to me. Nutritional yeast may help with that as it's a flavour enhancer and has a kind of cheesy/umami taste. Otherwise, maybe some white wine or apple cider vinegar or some vegan butter? I'm not the best cook so I'm not entirely sure, hehe. But that brings me to your second question which could probably also explain the first question. 2.) Did you use raw cashews? I always use raw for my sauces. If you used roasted they'll likely be a darker colour and, I would imagine, a more intense nutty flavour. 💕💕💕
