Hunter boots or Hunter Wellies have been something I've wanted to try and review for a long time. These Hunter short Play Boots in black solve a problem i've had this year in needing a pair of versatile, throw-on boots that are waterproof, dirt and mud proof and are easy to clean.

What do you think of guys wearing tall Hunters in the city? I seem to be one of very few. I like the look and the protection they provide.

Would be good to hear how you get on because the issue is whether they are tall enough to protect you from the mud.

That’s the plan. I have the tall ones for outside of London as we often go on dog walks and it’s quite ‘rural’ I guess. For the city though these seem to be perfect so far. We had snow this week so I wore them to the supermarket. Sidewalks were covered in snow and ice and they fit right in!

How have these held up? The soles dont look that grippy.

Honestly, these have been one of, if not the best purchase in the last year. I've worn them probably every day during winter on my walks while working from home. Have had 0 problems with them. 100% would buy again!

Yep, I was literally was saying it to my other half last week how good they had been. No nonsense easy on and off (unlike the tall ones). I have the insulated which have been great.
