Slowly getting my wife interested in vehicle camping. Took my 07 F-150 4 door put a camper cover on the back. Built some bunks with storage underneath use truck stops for showers.

My wife and I took a couple days just after valentines day to visit the New River Gorge. We have nearly 2yr old twins and a 3yr old. You start to realize when you work 5 and 6 days a week and your whole life revolves around kids when you're home just how much you can lose touch in a way with one another. That trip, especially going along the bridge walk platform 850 feet up with my wife while she challenged her fear of heights really did us some good and helped us get a little of "us" back. It's important to make sure you are paying attention to one another and doing things together when you can.

With any marriage you got to work together and balance everything. I like how you layed out what you take for trips. Definitely save some money traveling like this

Great video! The wife knows she loses me from October to February and April to hunting seasons. But come spring and summer we go to the beach or wherever she wants. In a week we're actually gonna try car camping thanks to yall! Lol. We normally pull an RV. Gonna head out west! Mt Rushmore, Yellowstone, Moab. Just gonna make a big loop and try to see as much stuff as we can. Thanks for sharing yalls adventures!

exactly right!! Been married 52 years. She really didn't know what she was getting into, and it only got worse. Every year I had more money to hunt with. There were times I'd quit jobs because they didn't want to give me the time off for hunting. Even tho I pointed out to them when I hired on that I was a hunter and needed time off. When the time came they reneged so I went down the road. First two times my wife didn't understand, but she got used to it. What kind of motors you got running them duck boats.

Perfect timing ! I just got back from the panhandle with my wife , 3 boys and my mom. We will be fishing and hiking for the next 4 months. Luckily I’m off 3 days a week so plenty of time to get some good summer scouting in. My wife says she’s a single mom during deer/turkey season haha. But she’s a lot like Ms Sandy. She knows it’s what I love , nothing selfish about it. A lot of my scouting is done on rainy days since I’d be stuck in the house otherwise. Absolutely love the channel and all the diverse content. My Husband and I are wondering what kind of heater/pump system you are using for the shower. We have a cargo trailer that we converted into a camper. We use a pump up plant sprayer that we add heated water to, and use in our shower tent. It works great, but maybe your system would work better for us. Love your channel!
