Honestly I have no idea, the MEATER did all the work on that one. I don’t tend to use thermometers too much now and try to do it to touch mostly but it very much depends on how you like it. For me.. I keep pressing and I’m feeling for it to go from a fleshing no resistance feel to a slight firmness but still soft. It’s hard to describe but it’s takes time and practice. 4 sacks I would say? Something like that anyway. And ash is good. I use charcoal a lot for speed
