Yes because the anti hunting community don’t put money towards saving the rhino. So the people who own these rhinos on private land have to hire security 24/7 and that needs to be funded. The only way to fund such an expensive endeavour is to hunt one or two of the old bulls and put that money back into protecting the others and making sure they breed to have rhino for our fitire

Usually donated to villagers. Some people are adventurous and eat it. Cape buffalo is delicious, but other meats that are tricky to eat are donated to one of the many hungry villages.

Does hunting really pay for conservation?
@AfricanSafariFilms
@AfricanSafariFilms 23 күн бұрын
100% yes, the money for these animals goes towards looking after them. As they have a value people will keep breeding and looking after them. If no one wanted to pay for any animal, then landowners would kill everything on their land and put cattle as they need an income

A former field ranger, tasked with protecting wildlife, has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment for killing a rhino in the Nwanetsi section of the Kruger National Park in 2020😜😜😜 But What can we say. Poaching is reserved for the Rich people.
@AfricanSafariFilms
@AfricanSafariFilms 5 ай бұрын
Poaching? Buddy we have permits issued from the same people to hunt them that paid your salary… 😂🤣🤣. Poaching is poaching and hunting is conservation. And most poaching in reserves involves ranges giving out information to the poachers, so just be careful how you judge people, I could judge you the same way

How much do you pay to protect the wildlife? Where hunting is allowed animals are thriving. Because they pay huge fees for licensing and other fees and part of the money and most of the meat goes to the villages. The money to build schools and hospitals and to dig wells the villages themselves help decide what the money goes for. The countries people like you get get hunting band the animals quickly disappear because no game protection because no money to pay for it.

@@m.hamzakhalid2943 nonsense, trophy hunting has saved the rhino. If the rhino had no value then no one would want them on their land and kill them off and replace them with something that has value. Don’t be stupid, if you love avocado would you go to an apple place to shop? NO, so you go to a place that sells avo, if no one wants to pay for avo then the farmers would stop farming avo and start apple. Same with wildlife
