Hunting Back Down South’s Private Timber Hole

In episode 7 a few of the guys hunted Simms private timber hole. The past few years we haven’t seen many ducks out there but all signs were pointing to it being a better year if everything falls in place. We started the morning off in a spot where the ducks weren’t really at but where you hoped they’d come because it was such a badass timber hole, shot 3-4 then moved to a hole that we thought they were going to. There were so many ducks but they would not work to any calls, so we bounced around a few more times and when it started getting lighter out we noticed they were hitting the levees pretty hard. At this point we were contemplating whether or not to leave or sit in the blind for a bit and gosh are we glad that we decided to stay, wads of mallards coming out of nowhere for the next 2-3 hours until about 1 pm. To say the least, it was a good day and we were excited to see mallards on the property!

The duck saw you. Your browns and tans on the waders might as well be blaze orange. It’s so bright. Plus you have no face paint. Big no no in the duck hunting world

Hipster ok dinosaur!!!! Ran Into many of you guys on public land guess you still wear old rubber chest waders and flannel to YOUR duck hole too!! Life’s to short for this those guys are busting their butts making habitat for ducks and enjoying themselves Guess because they weren’t shooting limits and landing big groups in it’s not duck hunting either if you wanna watch that go look up duck killing not duck hunting videos

Don’t be that guy. Everyone is different. One of the best duck killers I know in Arkansas is a 28 year old long haired hippie that showers bout once a week. He push poles to duck holes. Doesn’t own a boat. Point is that never judge someone before you get to know them. I sure did and I was dead wrong. He is one of my best duck hunting friends now. One of the only people I would trust with anything I own.
