In which I go for a stroll along the Lancashire coast from Lytham to St. Annes, have the worlds smallest coffee, see a full size replica of a World War 2 Spitfire and have two generous scoops of ice cream (Rum N' Raisin & Candy Floss flavour) oh and I stop by any charity shops I pass on the lookout for vinyl records.

i was stopping in Blackpool a few years back and the old mantra 'do you have any records in the back' paid off a few times. got 1st 2 King Crimsons and a load of mint Beatles for 25p each, took them back to Brighton and got £300

Good to see you back Johnny. Not seen owt of Lytham for years. Used to visit my old uni housemate up there. I never took to the place though. Too many rich people. You'd have been paying Lytham prices on the vinyl too, £2.99 for a Tracey Ullman 7"....Wtf?! lol

Hello Gavin- yeah that was a bit much for me for a single. The charity shop near me recently doubled the price of their 7inches..to 20p!

Those charity shops were looking pricy. I don't go out my way now to look for stuff in them now. Too lower quality things at too higher prices I find now. Anyways looked a really nice day to be out and about.

"Bogling" made me chuckle.I have a theory that they put the vinyl on the floor to see how much they can make us grovel around and then to add insult wack on ebay prices for alot of the time dingy beat up vinyl.I say no more.If they are gunna charge top wack at least put them in a comfortable place to pick through and value them properly or supply knee pads.Alot of the time they have "a guy" who knows the value of these long forgotten types of media and prices them and the price is non negotiable.I still grovel and still buy and sometimes haggle.Some you win some you lose and you do get bargains even though many shops cherry pick or sell via ebay.Its all part of the hunt.Lytham looks nice enough.You passed on billie piper and sam Foxx how very dare you lol

Cheers Sparks- I can't see an Aswad record without thinking of Spaced 😂 and yes, records on the floor is a bad idea- looking back at the footage there was a few records I would have given a second look if it wasn't for the heat and discomfort of stooping down to ground level or doing yoga in the middle of a shop full of old dears looking for bargains... Billie Piper? Nah. Sam Fox though 👌 😄

@@JohnnyCeed Haha same now.Had to go have a listin to warrior charge afterwards great track before they went pop/mainstream.Billie pipers music was rubbish admittedly so was sam fox but would rather billie anyday.Did I hear some backwards Neil diamond in one of those shops?
