1. Your villagers do the work, they just don't have any animations of actually working. They just bum around visually, but they still count as working. And yes, they only produce at the end of the season. 2. You can give YOURSELF a job. Set yourself as the lumberjack, and even though you spent the entire season on the other side of the map doing gods know what, it will still count. You still, SOMEHOW, cut some trees and brought the logs back to storage. SOMEHOW. 3. The chests where you found some loot, respawn every season. Go back and loot the boxes of that fisherman, the dying old man, the priestess etc. 4. Go along the coast heading South, there's a bandit camp right across the river. Got meself 6 iron knives there, 4 out of which I promptly sold back to the bandits. There's also an iron mine under their camp. 5. Facken weebs.

Inari is the Shinto God of fertility, agriculture and rice. Also Inari's foxes are the messengers of the Shinto Pantheon.

Every second japanese word was mispronounced, especially names. XD I'll endure the torture for the entertainment. As a general rule, when spelled out in english, all of the vowels are the same no matter what else is present. Examples: Kama "Ka - Ma" there is no long A in this. Same with Mata "Ma - Ta". It may be easier to think of it as the english vowels break up syllables. Kami "Ka - MEE" is a pretty literal term for a god. That shrine was to a goddess that supposedly sends foxes to protect the crops. Foxes notoriously steal and eat eggs, hence the offering of an egg. I think you've figured out that the diacritical mark above an 'O' indicates a long vowel; just gotta apply that to all of them.

Drea, I am bit rusty with Japanese mythology, you have a red face yokai - "which mean a demon or a spirit." Not all yokai are evil in Japanese mythologies some of them actually protect you from bad luck and the protectors of humanity. It sound like you are dealing with an oni in your next video, and depending what version from the mythologies you better be prepare for plagues and earthquakes. 😅😅😅.

I liked Medieval Dynasty as a concept, but the whole "Every day equals a season" made the game feel like it was going by way too fast for a slower gamer like myself. =(

You are doing a passable job of pronouncing the foreign words like Kami and Nata, one tip I have for you is to treat the "a" sounds in Kami and Nata as an "ah" sound. So, phonetically it will sound like "K-ah-mi" and not "K-am-i". Note, the i's sound like e's, as you have been doing. I'm enjoying this series and I hope it continues! Thanks for the effort you put in to entertain 😊😊

First few comments

tldr: So I have spent a few hours playing this game and I can honestly say it is a cash grab. The compendium for the game is sold separately as well as a VERY unpolished game for a LARGE pricepoint. Performance is not the best and npc's float around instead of walk with the terrain. I don't understand how they can have a carbon copy of Medieval Dynasty just re-skinned but actually include less content and no real improvement with the UI, NPC, or world environment. The world itself is not terrible and looks decent, however the assets seem to hover in the environment and don't fit in very well in many cases be that trees, rocks, branches, nests, npc's, buildings, etc. Skill trees that seem VERY incomplete(10 total?). Either a majority of the crafting is in the compendium or it is not yet implemented as there is no way to build some production buildings. Mind you I have completed the quest lines and talked with every npc in every city(3)(I stayed and rebuilt the first city). Interactions are limited and the entire goal is to house refugee's and rebuild the provincial infrastructure because for some reason after the rebellion everyone keeps building cities but nobody fixes the bridges. This is the ONLY way to gain Dynasty reputation as your reputation is based on what accomplishments you finished, not how many people are in your cities or how well fed they are. Basically you don't need villagers to grow your rep just build special bridge projects. A warning to folks: This game looks nice, but it is worse than MD, has less content, buggy npc(animals, characters), no challenging combat, no real link to the actual Sengoku era other than story telling, no traditional buildings(that you can build), no real point. You are a refugee that has taken it upon themselves to rebuild the infrastructure like bridges right behind the town leaders building that YOU need to fix for some reason as they don't care. A logging town mind you that offers no wood, labor, or coin for your efforts. There is something about this game that really feels off and the cities/environment just don't feel natural. Maybe it's me, but this feels like something a high school kid could throw together over a weekend given they already have the code, placeholders, and scripts all built from MD, just needing new skins and new map but somehow messing that up.

This game is terrible, it needs 1-2 years of extra development.
