To build dynasty level, you can do quests and special projects like watchtowers and bridges. To recruit more refugees, you need dynasty lvl 7 and wait one season. After the season change they will appear in lil shantie shacks over the map. Also the leather tanning, you can do any number you don't have to load 10 furs at once.

only way to increase your dynasty is doing the special quest located on the map they are strutcures that need be built like brdiges and towers and you have to wait several seasons for them to be built

@@kentoncompton3009 They aren't evil but rather neutral, they can bring luck and be good or being tricksters and cause harm. The thing with turning into women is true, but upon their cover being blown they rather leave behind the guy and the potential children. (I've read only about them for a little story I wrote, I'm not a Shinto expert)

Definitely enjoying your content, i don't know if it has anything related to the game but as it has blesings I just wanted to tell you that foxes or (kitsunes) are a very adorated animal in the japanese culture it could be a god (kami Kyuuby (nine tailed fox) ) or a disciple (shikigami) so try not to kill them.

made a long comment last video. You get dynasty rep by building special projects (bridges, towers, helping villages). You get villagers by finding refugees and inviting them (you need homes for them). You don't get married or have children like you do in MD. Your buildings are not linked to your skills like MD but you need to be taught them or bought (paid DLC). This game is incomplete and lacks 50% what MD has, while also having many buggy interactions. Mata will have the same quests EVERY season which give you special supplies (ointments, teas, etc.) but can only be done once per season. Seasons make no difference. You dont need clothes for the winter as there is no cold/hot mechanic. Firewood/coal for villagers in storage is all thats needed, super easy to make as well as water. I generally make 10-20 buckets and that is enough water for the season+. If seasons mattered it would be for crops which I have not found a teacher or way to grow crops. (not implemented or paid DLC) and also pointless. With the hunter and forager there is more than enough food for everyone and given you can add to the income all season its stupid easy to feed and care for everyone. I have ran into a total of 4 bandits in the entire game (not counting the bandit city) that wanted to fight, all of which were solo and were so easy to kill its was sad. The boars are scarier than the bandits. There is NO challenge to this game and all you are doing is building bridges every season, over and over just to get the reputation to get more refugees. Yet no wife/child or any way to really carry your legacy/dynasty name forward through history just a city or two full of refugees that you built/rebuilt. Game is a cash grab with re-skinned assets from MD and nothing new or unique to make it special. It lacks the Sengoku era feeling as its only told in story, not through action. You could put this scenario in ANY era and the game play would be exactly the same. Just new skins to make it seem "new" and story lines that talk about said era. Meanwhile the game itself is substandard compared to MD which is sad because it came out first and ALL the code and assets are already built and in place. New map, new skins, new story, but less features and nothing new? Obvious cash grab.

0:55 Not really realistic at all, keep hitting the fox with a axe, but it takes about 10 hits to kill it 🤷 When I hit a deer with my car, I broke 3 of its legs, luckily I had a are in the car, I had to kill it so it didn't have suffer with its pain because of the legs.. 3 hard hits to the skull, killed him.. Big SOB..

Yeah, pretty sad. I liked MD as its a unique city builder. Something about Sengoku just feels off though as if they were really just after the money and not trying to put out a good game. Re-skinned MD with less content.

I've been playing this. I have to compare it to their other titles. I will say I'm kind of disappointed. This game should be better than medieval dynasty. Somehow it's not.

Agreed. Something out Sengoku feels like they are after the money and not trying to put out a good game. (base game + paid DLC). Also feels like there is less content than MD overall with things like season damage to buildings, families, taxes, combat, cleanliness, etc. Certainly doesn't feel on par with MD, and as a followup game, it should better not worse.

@@groundedgaming69 Being the same is fine, but they actually have less in Sengoku. The only new variant is the special projects. Problem is the flow and reason of the game is broken in concept from the get-go. A refugee thats seeking asylum that gets chosen to rebuild a city and the entirety of the road networks that lay at the footsteps of established cities who dont lift a finger. You arent trying to grow your name, or your family, or any real dynasty. This game should have been called Refugee Slave Simulator Sengoku Era.
