You said there was nothing modern about your house, in the US, we’d call the overall architectural design of your home modern as opposed to Colonial, Victorian etc. So glad I found your channel! Not only your renovation of your home, but your visits to other homes is very inspiring. Thank you. ❤

Another home run by you two. Great color scheme and the older type plumbing make it all come together. The cherry on top was the larger windows letting all that light in. Thumbs up.

very harmoniously combined different types of tiles. the color of the cabinet goes well with the floor tiles. silver faucets look great as accent accessories. Yes, the curtain in the cage is also very appropriate. I really like these complex colors. Good luck!

Loving the colour scheme. Would never have thought to use that colour floor tile (we have an 80’s house and have that colour tile in our main living area) but I do like it in your bathroom. Great job, guys! 👍🏼

Love it! The wall mounted vanity adds the illusion of a larger floor plan and the colours beautifully echo the colours in nature outside :) Looking forward to the next one!

It looks gorgeous! I am currently planning a bath reno too and also am choosing green tiles, but more like those in your mood board (the oblong ones). I love your hanging vanity. You can really make a small bath a jewel box.

Green! 😍 It may be a small bathroom, but it is great. Easy to clean and easy to keep warm. I do know the style of your dream bath, but just think how much easier this one is to maintain. Hah, hah, and how much hot water you will save! If you want a spiffy bath, you can just go visit in Lorne 😁 (Or a rental cottage - I remember one with a wood deck bath looking over the bush.)

Bathroom looks awesome. I was wondering about insulation under the floor when Jonno was ripping it all out. Was it electric underfloor heating you put in? I seem to have missed it, but maybe I looked away at that point and missed it. It's been so long since you first posted about the cabin that I've kind of forgotten what it looks like. Maybe do a quick refresher video to remind us of what you've done and are planning on doing. I do remember the bedroom though.

Yes we installed electric underfloor heating, jonno wants to also further insulate under the house to improve the efficiency. Good idea, we’ll share some of our ideas for what we have planned

Just cleaner as a backsplash in green then clean walls around the window. Would have made for some awkward shapes and half cut tiles around the window.

Floorboards out. 19mm cement sheeting down as a new base.

It was calked into place. But you can’t see the caulk around the edge. Cleaner finish.
