I love everything!! I would get a longer cafe curtain that covered the whole lower half to cover up the crack, but everything else is absolutely amazing!!

You may be able to add a cute similar color natural trim on the top of it to add height to it. I really like the look of the cafe curtain though😊

Thought the same! Would clipping the fabric onto rings allow you raise the bar enough?

I think adding fabric tabs would change the look of the cafe curtain but adding a natural trim on the top, the possibilities are endless and some are very simple so it wouldn’t change the look of it while adding height. You could also sew on an extra width of neutral fabric and loop over to make a new pocket for the rod to go into and do it that way. Cafe curtains are very simple and you could even do no sew and do fusible webbing to bind the hems and such. But it’s definitely a cute idea and I love the look it gives

It looks so good Kenzie. I agree about making the cafe curtain longer & may I suggest painting the wall fixtures to match the wall, they stick out like a sore thumb (as my dear mother use to say). The walls, paper & sink are fabulous! ❤. Great job!

Kenzie, How can I express my awe? If I could, I would pluck this powder bath and place it down inside my home. You have accomplished so many great things. You have added lots of texture, you have added multiple shading tones, you have brought back in old wood, the list goes on! I just hate when other people tell someone they need to take away or change things. This is YOUR room, YOUR inspiration and YOUR joy to embrace. The cafe curtain was a fantastic idea. I love the color and even the tassels on the second choice. I know the height is what you are stuck with if you purchase. I thought the hand towel next to the sink had a similar vibe. IF you would like to bring the rod up to the window frame in the middle where the two panes split, so as not to have a double line, I have watched Lone Fox and XoMcKenna take a simple piece of fabric throw in a top and bottom hem and hang for cafe curtains. I have also seen others take a hand towel like yours that already has side and bottom hems and just flip over the top, zip in a single pocket hem to make it the exact height they desire and lop off the excess fabric. You and your husband must be so proud of your accomplishments. It’s exciting to watch your design process expand and grow. Thank you for sharing!

Definitely doesn't look builder grade any longer. I agree with other subscribers that you need a longer cafe curtain (they are not my thing at all but I know they are very popular this year). Everything turned out beautifully. You have inspired me to add so additional character to my home as well.

I love the café curtains in the living room, especially goes with how you’ve styled everything. The one in the bathroom I think needs to be longer. It needs to be with the top of the lower window. The one you have there now is really a valance.

The only change I would make is taking the little pink flowers that are in the white planter on that cute wooden shelf and put those in the old world vase on your stool and put the other faux flowers up in the planter on the shelf so you don’t cover that cute picture behind it. It’ll add much needed height to that pretty vase on the stool. Other than that the room is adorable and very old world looking.

I absolutely love it! It is all so beautiful. The walls look gorgeous. I think that sink is just perfect and looks amazing on the cabinet that you guys used the easy off method to transform! The little cafe curtain really looks nice and serves as a functional privacy piece to the window. The colors are just so beautiful and I am so impressed! ❤

😱 This turned out so beautiful! I’ve never checked out Temu. I actually prefer the stick on bathroom items you had. I like change and I’m glad there are no holes to worry about. I’m just iffy on how they will hold up. Loved this project! ❤

Change out your light switches and door handle to match the tap fittings, paint and refresh your ceiling, and definitely, definitely, definitely swap out that short cafe curtain as it looks as though you ran out of fabric.
